Here's my two cents of worthless information. For my EDC I use a quality flexible nylon belt with nylon buckle. I carry a Concealment Express Holster in Appendix Carry and one spare 15 round magazine in the 9 o'clock position. I don't like being weighed down all day with all the extras. In my Truck I have this Black Scout concealment belt with Safari Land Holster, Black Scout MDP Trama Kit, Flash Light, two 15 round Magazines, two AR Magazines. The set up sits above my hips and is comfortable and Ridgid enough to hold everything. I don't like being weighed down all day. I can put this set up on in seconds. Black Scout has quality gear and I like supporting Jack.

Can you access the hidden pockets while the belt is snug plus your hands restrained?
The reason I don't use cobra buckles anymore is after sweat and dirt getting into the mechanism, the buckle is rendered useless. I have 3-4 cobra belts with seized up buckles. I've also found belt design and rigidity is dependent on the end user. for skinny guys,a thinner more flexible belt will hold your pants up better then the ridged design of that belt. Another one you should check out is the BlueForce Gear Minimalist belt

  • @TexasScout

Nice, but too much rigmarole to put on. I have been using a Big Foot steel core leather belt for almost a year. It has not developed the downward curve in the back so common in most belts and it goes on Iike any other belt. It supports any gun/holster combo I have and rides well with no sagging. This thing is cool, but for someone that is "circumferencially challenged", such as myself, this would be a PITA..

I was on the fence about this, but after watching this video and reading the comments I'm not convinced. Loading those pouches looks awful, and you can see you've already damaged yours probably with the lock picks. I think its a badly designed gimmick unfortunately.

  • @DropForgedSurvival

It is decent overall. They way it's stitched doesn't WOW me for $85 and I believe a company makes the "pocket" mod on their preexisting belt. But I do love the E&E tools from Vigilant Gear. However I don't have it in hand to feel, touch it, wear, test it, etc

    • @BlackScoutSurvival

This belt looks identical to CrossTac gun belts. Even the hidden compartments are the same.but this belt is just more expensive. Is this belt from the same manufacturer that makes CrossTac gun belts?

    • @BlackScoutSurvival
      @BlackScoutSurvival 7 років тому

Daniel De La Cruz nope. Never heard of them but just looked them up. Theirs
is not a rigid gun belt. No scuba webbing which is the standard in all gun belts.

I see lots of comments on the little pockets and we could talk all day on what unicorn we could stuff in them, they're great! Big thing is it's a gun belt. I have a deltech force right now and it's better than any "full grain" belt from Walmart. Makes all the difference in carry and weapon control. Might have to try one of these. Good to have options !

Hey Chris. Love your channel and Black Scout Survival. Pretty much started watching you guys at the same time. You guys sort of came up together but Jack's channel has surpassed yours in terms of subs. Why do you think that is. Don't think it is a content thing more of a quirk in the UA-cam algorithm. Really curious what your thoughts are.

myantispambox you don't have to take the buckle off. You leave it clipped all the time. Except unclip it when you take a poo. It works exactly like a normal belt.

So, This is available anytime now? I know Jack was doing short runs, I had to change my mind last minute, last time, I got one of the concealment wallets and a set of Bogota rakes, very pleased. Said about 8 weeks for delivery, it was more like 4 or 5 weeks. Thanks for the videos Chris.

Larger cobra stretch buckle with 1.5" webbing that feeds like a normal belt. SOE uses the smaller cobra belt buckle with smaller webbing that is sewn to the larger webbing. Also you only have to wait two weeks for ours.

  • @papaschuette

I'm guessing this belt wouldn't be good for an emergency fall restraint like the CQB. So basically this is just an $85 belt with 2 gimmick hidden pockets. I understand the made to size is a great option but it's not a game changer. Thanks for doing the review.

This is a completly unrealistic price. As a loooong time subscriber who has spent THOUSANDS of dollars of gear that you've reviewed I am insulted that your trying to hawk a $85 belt on your followers. I understand that I will be absolutly destroyed for saying that, but it is what it is.

    You should also research sociopaths,
