I hope your channel is about retiring to Thailand. I did a series of blog posts on alternative ways of living for people who can no longer afford the American Dream, and one of my blog posts was on people living overseas to save money, and I featured a number of videos where people talk about how much they pay for basic necessities in various locations. So I know there's a demand for those types of videos. People have a lot of questions about not only cost, but government paperwork/visas, can you work there, can you run a business/side hustle, how easy is it to navigate the country without speaking the language, what about health care, dental, and vision, how safe is it, what are things that are illegal there that aren't in most Western countries (i.e. how to stay out of trouble), etc.
There are so many questions people have and documenting your experience with the process from the very beginning (most channels seem to start after they're already there, so you miss out on the paperwork applications and what to do with all your stuff and pets as you permanently pull up stakes and move halfway around the world).

Great video, I've been interested in investing ever since I came across articles of people making up to $150,000 and more in this period, thanks for the video but is it really possible for a retail investor to achieve this in months?
I've purchased numerous stocks in individual firms. Because there are so many stocks that will skyrocket in the long run, it is currently safe to buy in on ETF and ride it out. Due to fud, I sold out early, but then retraced my ways and re-invested $350,000 with a financial advisor who manages my account. I received an 82% return last year and will see where it goes this year.
That's quite impressive, you surely made a good bit of money. I myself invested in warren's BRK-A stock quite pricey but totally worth it.

I have been wanting to become a serious full time UA-camr but I don’t how and where to start I don’t know what to start about I dont know anything about YouTubing what so ever. It is my life long dream to travel and see the world I believe UA-cam is a great way to showcase that but unfortunately I don’t have the money to do so. Learning UA-cam is a great resource to hopefully see the world I want to be able to leave my job in the medical field.

Sounds awesome my channel is about building Jeeps not sure how I could do anything like your talking about . I lost my job because my mom and brother were battling cancer and I missed to much time from work . My wife is allowing me to go after my dreams building my channel and my brand that me and my brother come up with before he passed
I didn't watch the video I'm just scrolling through comments Jeeps it might help to show people how they can fix things and replace things in their Jeep and maybe it can become an affiliate for a company that sells parts and accessories and stuff for Jeeps so then people can just click on your link to order the part the an affiliate for a company that sells the tools you would need to do the stuff you're doing basically anything that you're including in the channel find a way to monetize it even if it's a paint color become an affiliate or get a code for your viewers to order the paint from that particular company that you ordered from
Hi Alexa, I am disabled had my own business until the start of COVID which meant turnover hit rock bottom, I could have kept it going but my wife convinced me to give it up as i was dealing with the public all the time and although I'm not rich I had enough money to get by, I also had health issues so I gave it up in march 2020. My wife became ill with cancer and passed away in July 2020. Myself I became ill and over the next two years was in hospital five times the last time for 7 weeks and got out just before Christmas 2023 and unable to walk or do much for myself since then I have learnt to walk again and drive my car. I am now trying to get my UA-cam channel going and i am determined to do it, I don't care about making money on UA-cam (it would be nice though) it's just something to do and keep my mind active. Watching your videos has helped push me on. I can, I will, I know I can do it. Well done to you, keep it up. Forgot to say I'm 68 now and i have mobility issues so its never too late to start.

Dear Alexa, I started 4 years ago - no, it's not enough to "just start". I recorded 190 videos. Not everybody gets lucky.
@@hardworksmart a lot of the reacts and engagement that propel this is probably due to the massive amount of like for like and comment for comment type of bs which propels engagement.
Same thing people do for free on FB etc without having to break Hormozi off so he can flood my news feeds with ads. The fact he’s going that and getting trolled in comments shows that Skool is drowning.

You have been an inspiration for me. I just started my 2nd channel. My first one is faceles channel. I used it to learn about computers and editing. I finally started the second on last week doing a 30-day day content challenge. I hope it will help with my on-screen appearance and find out the areas that need to improve. I did that to myself 2 years ago. Things started rolling along in my energy work and I energetically shut off the tap because it felt like too much. Such a lesson. Watching your journey, what I love is that after you grew your channel, people started asking you for help organically. That's the dream.... it makes it so much easier than trying to figure out what to sell. Offering value and support is the winning road.

You are such a great inspiration Alexa! I want to add a one thing just in case you didn’t know. You mentioned not being able to refund your office as you work from home, but you actually can. There are two options: one is the flat rate of few hundred euros a year (don’t remember the exact number) and another one is based on the square meters. For example if your house is 100 sqm and your expenses are 1000 € and you use 10 sqm as an office, you can refund 1:10 = 100 € a month.
You probably know this and just gave a short explanation but I just wanted to tell this as I know many solopreneurs are not aware of this.

Great video. One can tell that you're very passionate about your stuff. Ps: you know you can save up to 8 hours per weekend, just by automating 90% of your tasks, ie: letting AI filter the quality of the Google form responses. You could even let AI respond with personalized email contents and all you need to do is add the videos as attachement...

You touched on something very important. You found your "enough" moment then you were convinced to do more because you can help more people. Don't be swayed into doing more. Just because you can help more people, doesn't mean you should help more people, you're not meant to. Revisit your "enough" moment because you are enough. Doing more, helping more, earning more, does not equate to your happiness, your financial freedom. The answer is "enough", not more. Your family, your mental health and your channel will be in a better head space. Spoken with love.
Yes, good point. But it wasn't an enough thing it was a "be nice and don't ask for more" thing actually. I've always been told to be happy with what you have and get, and not to ask for more, be grateful. Which I am very grateful for everything in life, but it was also holding me back. So yes, I totally see your point, but this was in the real of not feeling worthy or enough, but rather in the fact that it's ok to want more and do more. If that makes sense. Yes, it's so hard to express things fully and clearly without context on youtube. I appreciate your comment though and it is an important one!

That's by design to avoid the falloff of viewers at the end of a video, and the resultant loss of average view duration. If you signal the end of the video with a, "well, that's all for today", most people click off at that point. If you continue talking for another minute, that hurts your view duration.
Consider putting your LLC into a Trust. It gives you two layers of separation rather than just one layer of separation. Also, if something happens to you, you can will your trust to your kids.

I feel like this method works because of your niche. I feel like you're transitioning into sales and consulting. A lot of the people you're helping aren't in that sort of a niche. I think the story here is that youtube ad revenue wasn't enough by itself. Obviously super happy for you and have been following through your monetization journey... just wondering if these videos are helping me a little less.
Could you teach what you do? Why couldn't you offer courses? Or affiliate or selling your pottery, there are so many avenues for making money on youtube.
My goal is to do the same with coaching people on how to get clear on what they want in life and then remove all limiting beliefs holding them back.

I really appreciate what you are sharing but I do want to say that I feel certain content, especially “succeeding on UA-cam” as a niche is a very popular topic that most people are looking for. I have been on UA-cam for a little over two years. My niche on 3 different channels is female gray hair empowerment, art and living your passion, and a sketch comedy show with empowerment and esoteric content. Needless to say I am still not monetized. I have made a tiny bit of money from affiliate links. Made a 2.00 PDF for growing out your gray which I’ve made no sales from. I just don’t think it’s that easy. Maybe a limiting belief within me. Don’t you think there are certain niches or luck that go along with this? I hope you don’t take offense to this comment! It’s just incredibly frustrating at times.

this is really amazing and helpful information. I truly appreciate it on a mom to mom level I think it is sad that this led to your little one being in full-time daycare as a Mother with adult children. I highly recommend you only work part time as this time with your kids goes so fast. It’s like a blink of an eye you don’t wanna lose any precious moment. No amount of money can give you that time back with your children. I am raising my third child in my 40s after having two children in my 20s and that’s the biggest lesson I learned and wanted to share it since you’re sharing all this wonderful information.
I work 6 days a week for some extra money, and I’ve been toying with the idea of starting a channel for a number of months, but not sure how to approach it.

I would love to start my first video, but I want to give valuable information without sounding to sellzy. I want my income to come from UA-cam monetization and not sell anything of my own I feel like thats how values can turn when we put all our value on the money not the need in people looking for free information since UA-cam already pays for views in the long run if consistent. Recently I started watching Graham Stephan and his success on UA-cam he also has a course that’s 295 but he give a lot of financial value for free in his channel he has over 3 million subscribers

I know this is going to sound cynical, but with such low subscribers how does one sell a course or coaching program teaching people how to do something you haven't done yet? UA-cam and Skool seems to be creating a Ponzi scheme of creators selling "how to be creators" right out of the box....Sales are impressive, no doubt about it....I'm just shocked. Congrats on your success regardless of how this comment may seem. Do what works right?!
