Update: This downgrade now works with iOS 3.2-3.2.2, and have tested it on both of my first-generation iPads. I was able to downgrade my cellular iPad 1 to iOS 3.2, but not my Wi-Fi variant. To be fair, my working Wi-Fi iPad 1 also wouldn’t downgrade to iOS 3.2 tethered, either.
Hello, I got a vast amount of enjoyment from your video, and I gave you a “Thumbs Up”. Thank you for the many laughs. 🎉 I had watched this video whilst working on my motorcycle, and it had assisted me by diminishing my boredom whilst working on my motorcycle. I am appreciative of the many other things in which you had uploaded to your internet profile. Therefore, I have subscribed to your channel with the intent to watch more similar content in which you produce, however, if I am unable to watch a video due to time limitations, I apologize.
i got a 64gb ipad 1 from an employee at my gym. doesn’t work. i did ask if she had any recollection of plugging it into a computer and updating, she said she had itunes but can’t remember doing the update. personally my bets are on yes judging on how rare ios 3/even 4 is. worth fixing?
I want to feel the nostalgia of iOS 11, I've an iPad 6 and I want to downgrade, is it possible , and please mention that if it requires a different version of macOS.
You can use Semaphorin, which I will link here: github.com/LukeZGD/Semaphorin However, it is tethered and will only connect to Wi-Fi networks without passwords.
I jailbroke my old iphone 3g 4.2.1 last night using redsnow. Is there any way I can get the app store running, or an alt store to download apps for it? thanks in advance
Please help me fix error 1600 😢 I tried to downgrade my iPhone 4 to 4.2.1 with an iFaith IPSW (I have blobs), I got error 11. I downgaded my iTunes to iTunes 11, I got error 1600. I tried using iReb and still got the error. I tried redsn0w but it said that the blobs could not be verified. (I'm on Windows btw)
I have never attempted to downgrade an iPhone via iFaith, so I sadly cannot offer much assistance. However, I know that iFaith iPSWs have a tendency to fail; so that could be the issue. You could also need to downgrade to iTunes 10.
@@TheiTunesFanboyI agree, I don’t even know how to use Linux yet and 28.5% of the people who are interested in the technological genre of UA-cam probably don’t know how to use Linux. (Notice that any numbers or percentages are incorrect.)

I’m okay with that!
This is a great tutorial! It worked, thanks!
Thank you and you are welcome!
@@Kabd169 You might have been.
Whats benefit downgrading 5 to 4 or iphoneos 3 ??
Just for speed?
Yes, but also for rarity and fun.

successfully!thank you bro
You are welcome!
Thank you sooo much🙏
It worked for me and I used Linux ubuntu🙌
You are welcome!
Don’t work on Linux?
It does, but I have never used Linux before; so I didn’t cover it.

I think it's better to use a screen recorder on your MacBook, this way the screen will be a whole lot clearer, at least that's what I think.
QuickTime Player is built into macOS and has a screen recorder.
@@steve_2024Really? I didn't know that, but it sounds way more convenient than downloading free third party software with watermarks
I’ve considered it, but haven’t done it yet because it is easier to edit the video without one.

1) You’re welcome!
2) You can sideload apps on iOS 4 via this method: ua-cam.com/video/75fCzj1nOlM/v-deo.htmlsi=3a_xjMxgAietgo2v

Update : I also downgraded my iPod 4 to 4.3.3, and both the downgrades were untethered and successful.
@@1_over_9 Was it with or without SHSH blobs?
@@TheiTunesFanboy With blobs.
I used iSHSHit to save my blobs
Does this untethered downgrade work on Wi-Fi only iPad 1
I stated that in the video.
Where?
Oh wait nevermind you said “work on any iPad 1” at 1:20
@@LiamLG_Official That is okay.
I wish this worked for getting iOS 3 😢
So do I!
Someone has actually done a untethered downgrade to iPhoneOS 3.2.2 on iPad 1 but I don’t know how, probably by using the same iBoot exploit
@@LiamLG_Official That was likely with SHSH blobs.
He said blobs weren’t required
@@LiamLG_Official Who said that?
You can actually can downgrade to iPhonesOS 3.2 now.
I’ll have to try it sometime!
First comment: Hope you make a windows version
It is impossible to downgrade a first-generation iPad to iOS 4.2.1-5.1 on Windows without saved SHSH blobs for such versions.
@@TheiTunesFanboy There’s not really any need for a Windows version as you can just use legacy iOS kit on Linux.
@@steve_2024 That is too difficult for most people, though.
