Yes unfortunately Ireland lost out in not giving him more regular starting slots under Schmidt, and now Farrell, hugely respected in munster by fans. He's married to an Irish woman, one child so far.
Delighted for him, he's given so much to Munster since he arrived back in 2016 and he's definitely become one of the fan favourites. Can't wait to have himself and Snyman back in the squad for the up and coming URC games 💪, after their well deserved holiday obviously 😅
Congrats S.A well deserved. But I got to give props to the All Blacks playing with only 14 players almost the whole game and was still in it until the final whistle
Springboks are the only team to win the four world Cup finals they played in but did not play in 87 & 91 Two last back to back World Cups away from South Africa. Now have done better than All Blacks.
🇿🇦If the Irish coaches understood what wins WC knockout games, JK would’ve been their second name down after Ryan. Instead they take a world class flanker in Beirne and play him as a the average test lock he is. Ireland’s folly is our boon. Salads don’t win WCs and neither does fancy triple back-flip circus moves.
@jacloock, Well done Jean and I'm sure you understand how predictably "constrained" the Irish coaching staff are when it comes to picking a Irish squad to go farther than the quarters in the WC.
No RG snyman is South African Jean Kleyn was born in South Africa but is now an irish citizen but he was still eligible to play for the springboks his country of birth
@@clarencejacobs4186 he is still a South African citizen, ethnicity and nationality are South African. If he wasn't South African he wouldn't be able to play for the Boks. All players have to be SAfrican ...unlike other countries. He originally qualified for Ireland through residency.
Its so funny that so many Irish fans felt he wasnt good enough for them. He has a gold medal, they got as far as a 1/4 final. I think one can assume he had the last laugh, dont you ??????? We are number 1,they are number 8 ?
It wasn't the Irish fans,it was the coaching teams of Joe Schmidt, and now Andy Farrell who thought this talented player wasn't good enough, you're aiming at the wrong targets there. Jean Kleyn, and RG snyman are hugely respected and admired by Munster at least, and by Irish fans as well. Ireland are not ranked 8th,they were 1, but dropped to 3rd after Q/F defeat. I'm not up to speed on the latest rankings though,so things might have changed since!
As a Saffa, I actually wish Ireland or France had won the WC. The draw was so cruel to to both countries. The draw didn't show show how much the Northern Hemisphere have improved. Which is why we Saffas now ply our trade up north. But the winds of change are blowing and the North are rising. This was a once in generation of Saffa players. times change. Great WC anyways. so many close games.
@@Andre2000thekowalsk Thanks appreciate that positive comment, Springboks are hugely respected in Ireland, and their is a very close relationship between both countries in terms of Springbok players, and coaches coming over and helping to raise the coaching, and playing standards in Ireland, to the extent that we can now compete with the southern hemisphere giants 👍
You're very magnanimous considering the hate we've been getting. Ah well, I also enjoy our guys playing in the NH but our Boks were always my team to win.
@@Andre2000thekowalsk understandable...but not quite the same as "actually wish" they would have won, eh? I felt bad for them too, mostly France though, not Ireland...but am still absolutely thrilled that Siya and the boys have gone back to back. And I'm not a Saffa

It must feel incredible for him. I imagine he feels like the most fortunate person in the world right now.

Congrads jean Klein well done winning world cup looking forward to seeing him with Munster soon

By far the best player on the whole Munster squad. Brings such fantastic skills. He’s a different type of humanoid.
Well done JK, delighted for you!
When the fanily calls you drop everything and answer. So happy for him.💚💛🏆

First Irish International to make it past the quarters.
congratulations Jean well done
What a journey for him, wow!
As a Munster fan I'm delighted for him and RG as an Ireland fan still don't understand why Farrell thought he was good enough
The guy who realised, "This is the year of the Northern Hemisphere" has always been one of the best jokes ever written.
Crazy he wasn't considered worthy of a spot in the Irish set up and now a world champion. Can't wait to see him back in red.
Blame Joe Schmidt, and Now Andy Farrell for that missed opportunity to get him as an Ireland player permanently.
The highest world cup achievement by an Ireland intl 🙃
They are properly led👏Ox said it❤...i believe it!
