Josh, Long time viewer first time commenter. Thanks to you and a few other UA-cam truckers, I took the plunger and got my Class 1 License in good ol Alberta. I've been working for a local company doing mostly body job work, but have finally found a company that will send me OTR which has been the goal all along, and its not one of the big mega carriers up here. I just want to say thanks and showing us all the life on the road and the ups and downs.

Been watching since 2012 my freshman year in highschool. now I'm a trucker 3 years in.
Congrats! No judgement but are you driving a manual transmission or a automatic? I can shift gears but recently started driving a 18 speed automatic because it was the only truck available and I don't want to drive a manual anymore lol the automatic is that nice.
We have those mud roads in Nebraska, they are called minimum maintenance roads. Basically a road grader may skim it once ever one or two years. All of us played on them with our 4x4 trucks when we were young n dumb

Hey, Josh... The temperature you were experiencing that day (24°C) would be considered a really warm/hot day here, in Ireland! Our usual summer temp. averages 15-21°C, so I can SORT of understand when you say that you find that temperature hot, though, I'd have expected that, that temperature to be pretty normal for Canada...(maybe it depends on where you live! The northern part of ANY country is normally a little bit cooler, I suppose!) Wouldn't mind some of that weather, here. Our summer's been, pretty much, non-existent, this year, unfortunately!! Love to you all, on THAT side of the Atlantic. 🇮🇪❤🇨🇦

Hi 👋, Josh! Maybe you could talk to whoever does that auto body work on your truck (Kenworth) about your concerns about the engine fan. Just a thought. I’m not a trucker or anything. But they’ll likely have more expertise and will be able to advise you better.

Mine does that I drive a W900 as well and mine not only blows it like it's pointing straight down but the dust also comes straight up the windshield part of the hood and just like blankets my windshield

Can't a switch be installed to shut the fan off? It should be simple enough to do. Maybe you want to have a bright warning light when it is engaged.
Whenever the temp gets above 20 degrees i get very uncomfortable.
Haha 😂 Josh summer time is bug time, your windshield shows it. I have noticed that a lot of them like smashing on the lower left side 😂.

I understand about the mortgage thing. Which is kind of ridiculous. However your health care system in Canada is superior to the US. Your health care costs are 50% or less of what it costs in the US.
