I am pretty sure that the vampires on your fort retreated there from the fight on the throne. They could do so because your fort was besieged in the magic phase.
In times of doubt you should call editor Mu to help with explaining. He seems like a really smart fella.
Cave connections are just like completely normal connections, except that they go down (or up) to another province. All the same rules apply
Big win today, ouch on the cap, I though you explained things fine.
Something like 55 mages. Crushing victory. I bet if you take the cap you kill the vampire spawns as well unless there was a discount site somewhere.
oooo good point
Yeah, it’s fine.
You absolutely could have send people from the throne to help relive your fort above it, I have no idea how you could not figure out how, as it is just a normal move to do so.
Oh, you realized later...
i think my brain was assuming the cave entrance was inside the fort for some reason.
Some of the mages might have gone beserk also, preventing them from using more gems.
Fucking cave entrances, how do they work?
Easy, just click to move on the cave entrance (on your side) as if it was was the province on the other side. Alternatively, you van shift layers with your army selected and click on the province on the other layer you want to move to.
He could easily have send people from the cave to brake siege.
@martinhorenovsky5016 Maybe they use magnets
I followed it. Or I thought I did.
Honestly, I don't think there was much strategic map to explain; battles are the most dramatic thing happening, and you've caveported directly onto abysia's cap-- pretty straightforward, even if it underplays abysia's strength. I mean, it helps to know context for drama's sake, but detailed logistics........ it's part of the game but it's not suuper interesting.
