  • Israeli officials say those who have fled Beirut's southern suburbs should not return home, as the IDF continues to target Hezbollah infrastructure. Lebanon's government says more than 2,000 people have been killed in the escalating conflict and 1.2 million displaced.
Meanwhile, Hamas says one of its armed wing leaders has been killed in an Israeli strike on a Palestinian refugee camp.
Australian evacuees have arrived in Cyprus from Beirut, on the first government-assisted flight organised by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
