Another feature that fell under the radar is if you click on the info button beside your Wi-Fi network you’ll notice there’s a new feature called rotate Wi-Fi address. This will allow you to spoof your iPhones Mac address so it can’t be tracked.
Definitely a great feature to highlight. Thanks for that.
Also with the flashlight by swiping left and right you can change how wide it is not only the brightness.
This is really a big deal.

Hi @iDeviceHelp! Thanks for the video. Here is one more tip, at 05:00 while in the sliding your finger over the torch in the dynamic island forth and back allows you to increase or decrease the torch light strength, sliding your finger right and left allows you to narrow or widen you flash light beam!
The worst part of the event is that AI is only compatible with 15 Pros 🙂
Atleast should had made compatible with new iphone 15
One of the worst part at least they can make pro models past years available. They are just money minded .

It’s very weird to leave out models that are still in the market. However, if they say that 15 models with A16 chip are compatible, 14pros would be too, so they wouldn’t sell newer and more expensive models(15pros and 16 since september ). That’s why I think that they will anounce more compatible models later this year or at the beginning of the next one, after xmas time.
For those who don't know, you can also adjust the flashlight intensity on your iPhone in the control panel. Press and hold the flashlight icon and make the adjustments there.
Hello from South Africa 🇿🇦 I am so glad I got the 15 Pro. I had a feeling some features would not be compatible with the normal 15.
Is the flashlight animation only on the pro series. The regular 15 does the normal animation

With the flash menu you can also change how narrow the light coming out is by swiping left or right. Try to get this comment to the top so he sees it.

@@vibesxryan no bro. Not at all. It runs just like iOS 17.5 just slightly buggier.
Love the locking apps bit. Been waiting since hidden albums for that. Just wish the ui for Face ID required apps was different. More minimal not a big blur screen that somewhat shows what’s behind it. But this implementation is warm welcomed for sure.

It’s pretty good. A little bit worse than 17.5.1 but not huge.
battery performance on 15 Pro is COMPLETE dogwater (expected for Beta 1)
but i absolutely don‘t like the fact that my battery health dropped to 99% 2 weeks ago and right after it finished updating and rebooting to iOS 18 it dropped to 98% ….

Yes
I think it’s smart that they don’t block settings for obvious reasons. If you want to lock certain settings from being changed such as accessing anything under your devices AppleID you can easily setup a screen time restriction which requires a passcode to lift the restriction before accessing and changing sensitive settings/ info. 3:02
Also if you swipe side to side on the flashlight widget it changes the width of the light. At least it does on the 15 pro max

You missed the feature on the light if you swipe right or left, it’s going to make it narrow or wider
You can also move it left to right to increase or decrease to width
Will mail app get better for receiving timely notifications like gmail for ios18 mail app wonget notifications eventhough fetch and pull push is enabled
For the flash light you can also swipe left and right for spot light or wide light
I think the new flashlight on dynamic Island looks sick

Installed on iPhone 15 (base) and no flashlight in dynamic island like in video. Guess, it’s for Pro’s only.
But so far, pretty stable build on daily use.
Is the flashlight narrowing available in other iPhone models as well ?
Only on Dynamic Island models it seems, I don't see it in the normal brightness level on 13 Pro Max.
Any idea if charging limit is available in older iPhones with iOS18 beta?

The flash can also be made wider and smaller this is also a fun new feature just drag left and right on the Dynamic Island

Also a tip about the flashlight is that on the dynamic island you can swipe left or right to make the flashlight wider or narrow.
Btw when you change your mic mode in control centre there’s a new automatic mode and it does a cool animation
I also found a feature where you can set phrases to do certain tasks WITHOUT SIRI
It’s in accessibility, it’s called Voice Shortcuts
There’s also an eye tracking feature where you can use your phone with your eyes, it’s also in accessibility

With the flash light you can always change the width of the actual light coming from the flash if you swipe on the line above the flash it’ll move it
Finally iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max gets iOS 18 😊

I did, it’s really stable actually. And battery life has been pretty good too.

Battery life is suffering, mobile data randomly shuts off, the software sometimes causes apps to crash on loop (iPhone 13)
