i like the storm chasing ai traffic addition. i do wish that maybe in the future we get to see tornadoes off in the distance lol

It's cool, but I personally prefer the coloured menu icons from the older version. Plus, I miss my coloured map background, Promods, and other mods.
I’m not feeling the new minimalistic UI User Interface. It looks like an extremely outdated game.

The truck brands probably will never allow there to be visual damage to their trucks due to licensing, they won't allow their trucks to be portrayed as anything other than in pristine condition

Of course most mods will be broken its a new game version you will have to wait to use those mods until they get updated to to run on the latest version of the game.

Alot of them still work fine.
Seems like visual esthetic/graphics mods are an issue, which makes sense.
Now this game Stutters like crazy after this update came out. Even on high end pc

I feel like "creeping" using the clutch biting point was added, it didnt do that prior to the update...or am i imagining things? 🤔
What do you all think about the UI?? reply plz. My thoughts: its a lot better than it was with the old jpg/png image style for icons however it might be too minimalist. in some places like settings menu and nav its good but in the main menu where you have your drive,jobs,nav,convoys etc pannel it could do with a bit more colour

I think they got better resource utilization: my GPU only worked at 60-70%, now, 95-98% 🤔
The region placement on the map just got offset when I bought the texas map DLC and upgraded to this. Any fix?

How do I disable lane assist? And what does "NOT active when indicator is turned on"? Which indicator? I cannot turn off no matter what I do
Lane assist can be disabled from gameplay settings.
I mean to say that lane assist will not be active (it will not warn you and correct the steering automatically) when you turn on left or right indicator / blinker.
Imagine you are changing lane in highway, lane assist would try to avoid it, but as long as you have indicator on, it will not interfere
@@AP_101I bound keys to switch lane assist on and to change lane assist modes, and they work as expected to enable lane assist and to change mode. But then I cannot toggle lane assist back off using any of those keys. Only through the UI menu.
None of the mirror fovs work with 1.50

Hi I don't have VR but I have heard from SCS that only one developer works for VR at SCS in his free time, so it may take a while for VR to be compatible with 1.50

For some reason my game is locked at 60 FPS, I have disabled Anti aliasing, and Also set the framerate to 101 since my monitor has a 100Hz refresh rate :s
Hopefully the graphics will look smoother in 1.50
Lmao, if using TAA, they'll definitely look smoother alright, almost making the image look blurry.

ok, lane departure needs to be coming from the damned speakers, the little ding a ling is not real, the real noise is the speaker making a loud BRRRRZZZZZ as you touch the line. i drive trucks for a living.
My brakes don’t squeak, anyone know why?

wasn't the WHOLE point of update 1.50 to have a better engine?
better game engine and still directX11 are contradictory terms
EDIT: i do however apreciate the very needed reworks
For me, version 1.50 is lighter than 1.49, even 1.49 itself takes up a lot of RAM memory.
There were supposed to be several modifications to the game engine for better performance, but I feel like the changes were few. There is not much difference in the fps in the 1.49 and 1.50. There is still a lot to work on in optimization and especially in the new rework areas

hi AP101, I reinstalled my computer system some days ago and now can't log in my original account. When I enter the game, it just leads me to create a new profile. So do you know how to sort that out? Thanks a lot!
Were you not using Steam cloud to save your progress to cloud?
@@AP_101 He didn't save my cloud files and fully deleted all my savings.. LMAO😅
Everything Is pink my cascadias hood is screwed up and it's pretty much unplayable

@AP_101 ok did that fixed other things but it's two mods causing conflict thank you so much tho
Game loaded once, now crashes all the time! ouch.
Disabled all mods that showed red.
Is it back to functioning normally now or are you still having issues?

Who wants this ugly UI?? It's old and outdated, the original UI was much better, more vibrant and enjoyable to use. This new UI is depressing.
Just go ahead and uninstall the game if not gonna appreciate the effort of trying to update everything

@@TheIcpfan23 not every change is a good thing, just because someone puts effort into something doesn't mean it's a good thing. SCS doesn't need to be coddled and praised over everything they do. And just because someone doesn't like something doesn't mean they have to uninstall the game. SCS could have made it a theme where we could have chosen to use the new UI or use the original, but for whatever reason they didn't.
I agree with the OP, the new UI is horrible.
Your logic is like telling someone to tear down a house because the walls are painted in an ugly color.
If all you do is praise a developer regardless of what they do they don't know if they're doing something right or wrong. Criticism is a good thing for a dev.
@@madmax2069Even saying 1.50 is a big update makes me even more disappointed because it's simply nonsense changes and still no gameplay upgrades at all, but I still don't understand that there are still some stupid people out there. to the point of criticizing anyone who talks about the badness of scs updates 😂
