Ahh...each and every detail so well though out! I learn so much each clip. Seeing you in a "thinking chair" is a great reminder of the creative process. When you mention winter camping, I'll bet you could engineer a way a for a water system to withstand -30F weeklong excursions in the mountains.

Another creative masterpiece. George, your designs should be in the Museum of Modern Art in MOMA NYC or SF. I will suggest it to them. What a spatial and inventive genius you are. A Renaissance man and a bon vivant. You really know how to live well, and build top quality products. I have so much admiration and respect for you. Bravo, George!!! The Roxie panel is fabulous and adds a splash of color to the van. The white chocolate laminate is soft and luscious, nice contrast with darker walnut. The pan holders are so cute!! The 50 gal water tank is stupendous. Ever since you mentioned baffle balls, I have to rethink my own water tank and redo it with a large top hatch and baffle balls! Its a 40 gal tank. Who builds their grandson a dinosaur submarine? George Mauro does!!! What will this do to the child? Spark his imagination and creativity, and deepen the bond with grandad, who in his mind, makes magic happen. Most importantly, it will validate the child's feelings and create huge self esteem and confidence, which is the greatest gift you can give your child apart from learning by watching all this creative ferment around him. Be sure to let him watch you work in the workshop often, and use the CNC Router, saws, computer graphics, laminating, wood working, and upholstery. Get him a little hard hat and apron and goggles. When he is steeped in that culture, those skills will come to him naturally later, and he will absorb a thousand details even at this age. My parents had a ceramic factory, and I absorbed so much from them just hanging around and playing with clay and glazes, slab and coil building, wheel work, glazing, firing, and breathing in that creativity. I would make a video for the grandson on how his dinosaur submarine was built because when you are long gone, he will remember it with fondness. You are a great man, George. Thank you for sharing.💐💖
