new bass talharpa soundcheck

almost finished with this one. it's a little bigger using 1/4 scale cello strings. much better playability and sounds good even with cheap strings and using a zoom recorder
body is cherry and soundboard is western red cedar with some laser engraving.

These are cheapish D'Addario prelude cello strings; 1/4 scale size

Whats your recording set up like? This audio here seems super rich and full. Not sure if thats just how well made the instrument is or if you have a mic youd recommend?
Also, how much is this particular unit?

This is just a cheap zoom am7 microphone plugged in to a phone. It's a medium sized room with vaulted ceilings mostly doing all the work. I use a cheap sterling audio stereo pair or an Aston element usually. I'm definitely still learning to record these, stringed instruments are hard and the room makes a huge difference; my usual room sounds terrible and requires a lot of EQ and processing.
