I was fixing to buy one, and I got on the website and that guitar was no longer on there. I contacted artist guitars and they said this model was not being sold in the United States.
Yes great guitar. I buy a cheep one from china. Total rubbish lost my cash. I'll be buying one of these. Good video
I just started looking into Artist guitarist. Amazing. So many great companies nowadays but you guys need strong marketing you are killing it, Sawtooth or any other variants can’t compete.

What's the weight like though? Some Artist guitars are really heavy..
Weight is average for this type of guitar...not heavy. I did weigh mine when I got it, but haven't got access to scales atm...It's an amazing guitar for the money... a keeper imo...cheers
As Always....yes ALWAYS a great review by one of my favourite players Bob Spencer. Im a bassist but love watching Bob's reviews. You get every little detail so well explained. But now,Im tempted to try an ARTIST bass,but we can ALWAYS add another bass to the fold.😂

Yep, they're a fantastic looking and playing guitar.
The grub screws on the bridge was my big gripe as well. In the end Artist felt it was better to return it. But if I had of kept it, I probably would have put a shim in the neck pocket, angled the neck back slightly so the saddles could be raised and the grub screws were sitting slightly lower in the saddles. Or put some shorter grub screws in as you suggested Bob.
Yes...replacing the grub screws is a simple matter...they are available in stainless steel in 2mm increments...I have a few sizes and usually replace a few as necessary after I've set up the action and see how they are situated...these issues are not a fault of the manufacturer as action heights vary between players...it's just part of a good careful setup...
@@cm-kl2wx Actually in this case it was a manufacture issue and the neck pocket seemed to slope towards the bridge. Yes you can replace grub screws, but why should you have to on a new guitar if the action is set to their default spec with the screws protruding so far out of the saddles? I can understand it if a player wants an extreme low/high action, then yes replacing the screws are an option.
I ended getting another Apricus a while later and this one is fine with no issues
When will there be new stock in the US, it’s been so long without inventory?
Artist guitars told me that this guitar model was not being sold in the US
