Is there a reason you don't screw some pieces of sheet metal around the bottom of the reel to keep the fish from going underneath it so you don't have to keep digging them out time after time and add a board next to the one on the deck with some hinges on it that you could flip up before you dump to keep the fish from spilling over. Work smarter not harder

The set looked good but retrieval looked like a real fuck up ! Panicking never really helps aye.
