Compared to the literal turd of a 318 that I had come through the shop last month, you had some really minor issues to fix up. The 318 initially came in for a full service, but ended up needing much more attention than we could provide. The fuel tank neck was broken, fuel lines were gummed up and sucking air, plus the carb needed to be cleaned.

Congrats on the 1872 find! The Super Cubs are a whole different world and definitely a step up from the tractors you're used to. Post some videos of it when you get a chance!

Hey Mike! Another good video! That cub looks like a great machine! But i was wondering, what do you think of the cyclops series cubs like the 1440, 1862, 1863, 1864, and 2284?
If you ditch the plastic hood and dash, they're the same basic machine as an 82 series (at least the earlier Cyclops models). Good tractors in general - just didn't spend enough time developing and testing the plastic hoods. But in Cub Cadet's defense, Deere plastics in the 90's weren't any better.
