“This isn’t your home it’s where you grow up.” Jesus that line hits hard because leaving a toxic home environment isn’t easy cuz you’re used to it and it’s *home* But your home isn’t always the place you grow up in but where you feel comfortable to be yourself in and the people you choose to surround yourself with
But what destroyed Lip the most was college, seeing that no matter what he did, he didn't come out of the dark. Two teachers took advantage of him, people he trusted, people with potential, who were very selfish and destroyed him. And the university instead of helping the victim (Lip) expelled him. Reality.
@@kingofmontechristo really? you haven't seen it or what? First there is Professor Helen who sleeps with him, a married woman who takes advantage of him and when things go wrong, abandons him and then there is the alcoholic Professor Hearst, who makes him take charge of him and his work.
The fight is going good 😊 man I'm 10 months sober had to rewatch the show again having personal dilemmas almost drank over the past weekend but went to a meeting it helps I recommend it
Mine as well @destroyer8386 his story helped me become sober I hope someday I can meet Jeremy and thank him for playing the role as lip. I'll be 7 months sober on June 21st.
"you're not the only one with shit going on. If you can't handle it, lean the fuck out. don't blame us for being a shitty mom" one of the coldest but most love filled quotes of the show
I love that finishing touch, great edit! I absolutely loved shameless, it reminds me my childhood only had minor flaws and not terrible traumas. I work harder and enjoy life more because of that show. Jeremy White is a GOAT of my (siblings) generation.
definition of wasted potential bro. he was so smart and could’ve done amazing things, but he drank too much and got expelled. it’s so sad because he was amazingly brilliant.
He is my favorite character by far and I really wanted him to get back into college it's so sad he didn't after that I knew his life was pretty fucked up
Life is scary when you’re an addict, I have pushed away everyone I’ve ever loved.. please… go through the pain… I know I’m about to go through it. And I’m scared asf… but I know Jesus Christ my lord and savior has my back regardless of the sins I’ve done..I’m doing..and the ones to come…just don’t give up please🙏🏼✨💙💙💙
This show may be chaotic and pyhchotic whatever you name it, but it thought me to be selfless, to love and always be there for your family no matter what
I think I know why I like Lip the most of all the siblings even when he’s wrong… he fell the farthest he could’ve been great but couldn’t make it. We pick our favorite characters sure but in the end this show is is a about a fucked up shameless family.
Lip was a hypocrite. None of them were saints but he would ridicule and lecture them all (including Fiona) and did the exact same things they all did. I never liked Lip. He was too full of himself and thought he was perfect even though he wasted most of his life being a jackass and being a stubborn hypocrite. 🤷🏼♂️😂

@@starrlights7006I’m not defending Debbie’s character because I couldn’t stand her but I do agree with this. She never really had a proper example of someone to grow up with. Let alone a motherly figure that taught her morals. Fiona wasn’t horrible to her but the things she did in front of Debbie did not set a good example. Plus Debbie was surrounded by so many people who were basically encouraging her and allowing her to be too open and act way too old for her young age.
Lip, by far the most relatable character of the series
“i don’t know how to be with myself, let alone anyone else” hits home. relationship after relationship ruined.

Yup! Kevin is always regarded as the “big dumb guy” but he has made several profound statements like this throughout the show.
I just finished shameless, and i truly got a new perspecgive on life, this show was purfect and 11 seasons were way to few. Such a masterpiece
I love him sm, he's like my comfort character together with Ian. I relate to him

What we have here is a once in a generation actor.
I relate to lip to. Much 😊
i can see myself in each of the gallagher and lip i see myself the most in him an fiona
In a way me and this character is two side of the same coin
Great video. The music and editing really capture Lips character and struggles. Keep up the great work.
Thank you very much 😉🙏
I relate to lip to much I’m a 21 year old alcoholic left college and struggling to manage things
Hey, hope you're getting better. And as lip do in the show, that you're searching and finding help.
Stay strong, this disease is awful.

Love my baby lip
I felt bad for lip his story was very hard he was turning into his dad which he did not like
Don't think you have to have the same difficulties to relate to struggle.. also don't believe lips struggles were the end of the world.
As someone that has only seen the first season - Did he ever get sober and fixed his life?
After season 5, lip was no longer happy 😔
Well good edit but u can't go back and fortb6
Same lip same
Lip il migliore dopo Fiona è riuscito a smettere di bere è stato un grande
