I work, take care of my family, born again Christian, and have a personal relationship with Jesus. Sometimes I feel I'm not doing enough for God so should I pray for God to do something extraordinary? Or will it be revealed to me super naturally from God as a child of God?

I work, take care of my family, born again Christian, and have a personal relationship with Jesus. If you never have a chance to do more for Jesus, you have fulfilled the requirement in your first sentence. When the right thing comes along, to do more for His kingdom, you will know

You're allowed to ask him, Ty! "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
Luke 11:13 ESV (you can read the whole passage for fuller context).
If you want to know God's calling for you, ask him. There is the general calling for all Christians (share the Gospel, be part of a local church, help the poor and needy and keep oneself unstained from the world--James 1:27--heal the sick etc.) so be doing that. If you're a dad, your kids are your ministry.
God can respond to your prayer to you through his Word, his people, dreams, visions, basically anything God wants.
Just be careful with your motives. We don't work for salvation. We work from it. Or for identity, but from it. God never chose us for our works. And even born again, we are still here in this world with a body of flesh. God's love isn't going to run away ever. Find out about "chesed," the root word for what the Bible calls steadfast love (or mercy of loyal love). He carried you to salvation and he will carry you perfectly to glorification (Philippians 1:6). Just seek him with an undivided heart, not because he will leave, but because it's what you were made to do and it will keep you safe from the wiles of the enemy and the world (Philippians 2:12-13).
