Trinidadians and the rest of the Caribbean have no "hate" for Jamaicans, it's more of the other way around. You can see it in the comments here. Then again, I don't think it's truly hatred. To me, Jamaicans are a proud people, and they tend to be strongly against anything that is not "Jamaican". When it comes to music the JA artists and promotors know that Trinidad is a big market for them. Teejay said it himself, Trinidad is who really buss him internationally.

Have to rethink life, start a new testament before really enjoying a visit to some of these islands like Barbados, St. Marten and the likes. Cruising is usually the best option, over staying your welcome is not good and cruising takes the guess work out of it for people that don't know when is when.

And FYI I support unity amongst caribbean people, and all black people for that matter, but at the same time, I notice that Jamaicans love to insult other islanders, and then when we respond, they try to tag us as Jamaican haters.
Yes some trinis could be arrogant I would admit, but so are Jamaicans, but the difference is that the arrogant trinis keep their arrogance to themselves, while Jamaicans on the other hand flaunt theirs for the world to see.
don’t take my word for it, just go to UA-cam and type in why I hate Jamaicans, and you would see at least 4 topics on the subject of other people hating Jamaicans for the arrogant bad ways, then go type in why I hate trinis, and there’s no topic on the subject, it just don’t exist.
That is testament to the share disregard that “S O M E” Jamaicans have for other people. I have american friends both Canadians and in the USA who ask me all the time, why can’t Jamaicans be like trinidadians, that’s because of the negative experiences they have with Jamaicans, sometimes I would have to remind them that a few negative people does not constitute a whole culture.
Just a month ago, I went to help a white friend of mine move some stuff to Philadelphia. after the move he asked me, why can’t Jamaicans be more like trinis, then he went on to explain his negative experiences with Jamaicans, how arrogant, how inconsiderate, how boldface, how disregardful, how uncompromising they were,
and again I had to come to the defense of Jamaicans telling him that betwixt the bad, there are some wonderful Jamaicans who are just as cool and as gracious as any other caribbean islanders, but he wasn’t buying it.
If I had a dollar for every time I hear a non black, non caribbean person ask me about Jamaican arrogance and bad behavior, I would be rich!! So don’t come here and compare us, instead, go and help fix the image of your people,
because I’ve heard too many complaints coming from people who live outside of jamaica and those who visited, who never wants to ever go back to jamaica, because they were either raped, which is common, robbed, swindled, price gouged and the list goes on.
So go fix your country before you challenge others about their conduct. Like Jesus said in the Bible, to take the beam out your eye before you try to take the spec out of someone else’s.
