You'd be tasting more sugar then anything. Espresso is supposed to be a small amount because its super concentrated coffee. That small amount that she had might have the same caffiene as the cup of coffee that youre used to(not sure if she used a single or double shot.)

This is espresso. Good machines are 600+
You can get cheap or used ones online tho. Casabrews make good ones.
