I own this kit and I put a little paint on the joints to tighten them up so they won’t be so loose or floppy. I heard that a third party company is making an add on kit for the RG Epyon to make it look like the P-Bandai MG Epyon with the extra parts. The company is called Effect Wings, if you’ve ever heard of it before. I’d like to see what that add on kit looks like.
Hi, thank you and sorry for late response. Freedom is far more advanced kit and build is more complex. It’s also newer and more solid. If it comes to design itself - it is subjective. I would go with 2.0 as I like it more in general in terms of looks etc but also there is more fun with this model.
I've had the kit built for a year. Holds poses pretty good, but I did paint it so there's added stiffness. I did have an issue with one of the wings being loose and hanging lower than the other.

RG God Gundam review is coming to my channel. RG Epyon should be here next days also so I will compare them both for sure. If it comes to MG vs RG it depends what you looking for in a model kit. I personally prefer bigger scale. But God Gundam have some pose gimmicks that are almost perfect and it’s hard to deny it’s superiority in that matter. From what I’ve checked RG Epyon have chance to be as good as God in terms of poseability. Rest is your design preferences ;)

Yeah it’s a shame that Sturm und Drung MG is Pbandai only :( really like the addons. Metal Build would be also awesome.
