Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am of the view that the team criticizing GM Chris Drury for their play is tantamount to the players saying that he should not have gotten them on this team. I don't see any other explanation, other than them criticizing him for trading the Jacob Trouba Trade, which, in my opinion, was a first step in The Right Direction. Let me know what you think
At this point in the season, the only way they could make a meaningful change would be to bring in a big impact player. The problem is they've already given up many pics and prospects. At some point the only way to salvage the season is to let it fail and then have a big fire sale
Great Video, as usual, guys. I don't know what went wrong with them, between last year & this. Last year, they were doing well & won The President's Trophy & this year, they're not even close. Were Goodrow & Others, that left, so good? I'm seeing Roslovic & Wennberg doing well on their new teams. I wouldn't think that's it, but, I don't know what explanation there can be. Let me know if you agree & what you think.
I was at the game Saturday (Paid 350 for a pair of FACE VALUE SEATS) and I booed the rangers off the ice for the first time in my career of going to games (100+)
I think, that, last year, as I had said, they needed to look at the team as how good/bad they'd been without Igor Shesterkin & Jonathan Quick saving games. Now, not even they are able to get The Rangers out of this. Let me know what you think. PS. Last year, they should have been looking to make changes to improve the team. PPS. I'm still perplexed why guys like Roslovic & Wennberg weren't doing well last season & they are doing well with their new teams. That's part of the issue
Hi, I’m a Devils fan enjoying this downfall, but I have an honest question: Did you guys not see the problems with this team even when they were winning? Seems like this team was aging and not good enough, propped up by elite goaltending and high level defensive structure for the last three years.
I agree with you, Nick, that they might all be scared that they're going to get traded, the way in which Jacob Trouba was. I'm of the view that the best way to avoid that, is to play better, however, they're doing exact opposite. Let me know what you think
My ticket for the Dallas game is $227. I didn't hesitate to book it back in September. Still gonna go up to DFW for the game, but...Oof. This is looking to be as bad as the 10-2 Flu Game.
Trouba might be captain material, but he was too expensive, and was directly responsible for last years collapse, and responsible for important goals against the past 2 ECF appearances. His comments in his exit interview says everything about him. He’s toxic. No leader speaks that way in a public interview.
Whats killed this franchise .. is simple..Lafreniere and kakko are bust compared to were they were drafted..1 pick overall 2 pick overall in back to back drafts .At best they needed to be superstars or franchise players at worst all-star players ..they are neither of the 3..Lafreniere is a good player when playing well... kakko is a Average 3 line player who occasionally plays well for a little stretch and the fanbase goes nuts...Colorado drafted Mackinnon 1 overall.. makar 4 overall.. rantanen 10 overall..TWO are superstar franchise players and rantanen is a all-star player..
Kreider and Zibanejad have been awful. They disappear for games at a time and both have zero physicality. Until they are gone from the roster ,nothing will change. Kreider could have been a HOF player but he’s the poster boy for inconsistency.
I was enjoying your podcast until you got to say that Jacob Truba was not captain material. now you show that you absolutely know nothing about hockey and you should never have a podcast again. Goodbye. Good riddance don’t be ranger fans.

The softness epidemic. Tragic.

Why can't Nick pronounce "Zibanejad" correctly? He's smart enough to do it, so I still hold out some hope that one day he will.

S O F T! They are soft and have been for a while.

Play rempe !
This team is dead
Personally biased against any team called Rangers (up Celtic)
