- CRWP partnered with Kelly B. Coffman from Cleveland Metroparks and Linda Sternheimer from the Port of Cleveland as part of our Speaker Series to bring you a free online presentation covering the Cleveland Harbor Eastern Embayment Resilience Strategy (CHEERS) and its implications for equitable park access, climate resiliency, and habitat restoration in the greater Cleveland area. The CHEERS project will be implemented in phases over the next 20 years, using beneficial dredge material from the mouth of the Cuyahoga River to reinforce Cleveland’s East Side shoreline and create new space for natural habitats and public parks. Kelly and Linda focus on their organization’s role in the project and how the partner collaborative created this vision for Cleveland’s shoreline.
