Havin two separate laundry closets upstairs seems like they have a set for each jack n Jill. They’d be perfect for when kids do their own laundry.
Yes! After alex and I thought about it we realized the laundry stations around the house were genius! No space for pile up and they're located right off of the bedrooms!!

That house you put an offer in- that house just fits you and your family- when I saw the mud room, the homework room-I thought “please God- let Kim get this house! It was designed for her!!!!” 🙏🏻you get it!!

I think you mentioned in one of your videos a while back that you’d like a gift wrapping station. I wonder if you could find that footage; create a little montage video of your house hunting journey and clips of your family and submit that along with your offers. Sometimes it’s not all about the “money” sometimes people want to feel like they are selling to someone they can relate to and who aren’t going to rip down the whole thing. Praying for you and your family on finding your next home!

Having the washer/dryer in the master, and then TWO upstairs is amazing!! You will never have to carry loads of laundry up and down stairs! Also, the rest of that house was incredible!

In the third home you could convert that room with the desks into a laundry room later since all the bedrooms already have nooks with desks.
that's a good idea. or a pantry and put the laundry room back where its already plumbed and vented for.
I thought the same! Would be a good spot for one.
These were my thoughts too...convert into a main floor laundry room. And make one of those laundry closet into a extra sink spot/mini fridge area for all the activity up there.

That 3rd house had great vibes 😎 The downstairs homework room could be converted to a laundry room.
That was my thought, the playing room upstairs have enough space for a part with desks if needed.
This is my thought too.... Each room has desks so kids wont need it.... and bonus comes with ready made folding areas..
I love house tours!! Getting to see how they’re put together. I love the 3rd one but not the 4th.
Totally!! And we even thought the laundry closets are actually genius! Right next to the rooms!
Kim write a personal note to the owners, have your kids draw a pictures, seriously it can help! We wrote a letter to the owners on our current house which had multiple offers but we stood out because of our letter and cha-Ching we were the chosen ones! Fingers crossed for your family.
I remember when I was house hunting I loved it when the pictures of the house included a floor plan with the pictures
Yes!! It’s so rare to get a floor plan! It would help so much!!
It’s pretty standard in the UK to get a floorplan.
My advice is don’t get too hung up on the distance. I picked my house specifically based on distance from my daughters in home school. Right after I closed on the home, the teacher announced she was expecting a miracle baby and would close her school by 07/31. I’m so happy for her! You never know how things can change in an instant. 🙂 luckily I still love the house lol
That little closet upstairs that you weren't sure about.... that was a SECOND stackable washer dryer closet....
With the washers & dryers upstairs you don't need a laundry room. We just keep laundry baskets in each bedroom and bathroom. When one is full the load gets washed, dried and put away because the location is so convenient. It really works against letting laundry pile up in a laundry room. That is one AMAZING house for your family!

I wonder if you could make the room downstairs where the kids artwork is, (in the second house) into the laundry room instead. Something to think about but that is definitely your house 100%
Always put a washer & dryer in garage and use that mud room for folding etc. You'll have to fence it or you'll have gators visiting....water close. So hoping you get The House you love soon....we have hurt for you when you "cry/tears" of disappointment.
The "sad pantry" you could remove the little desk area and expand the entire wall as a pantry...oh you said it at the very end..lol

As much as I LOVE seeing all these house tours, I hope you guys find your dream house soon! Your family truly deserves it! I can imagine the LOONNGG cleaning videos that will come! I was just as in love with the second house as you..it’s amazing! The mud room first of all is what I dream of! Then the office/craft room/ homework room is so amazing! The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, built in desks, just everything is amazing!! I agree with the laundry situation BUT it would be nice to have it upstairs with all the clothes so you don’t have to take it all back and forth..plus the YARD!!! That thing is phenomenal Kim!! Im praying for you guys and your dream house(the one that is PERFECT for your family) to come along. In the meantime thank you for taking us along with you! ❤️❤️
Kim i didn't watch your videos for about 3 months cause i was busy and i've been binging 3 months of Kim in the past week and it's been so fun!! I've been watching all your videos non-stop and i was just watching the fourth video back from this one and you posted this! I'm almost caught up!! My house is small, but it’s filled with love. My children are always close by, and it’s great. I believe some houses can be too big, too much upkeep. But, love the tours. 🥰 thanks for sharing

I believe I have subtitles in all of my videos - sometimes it takes longer to process for some reason - like days longer. Idk why! I always put them on! So sorry! Thanks for hanging in there!
It aint over til it's over!! Don't give up Kim! We were beat out by an offer because they had all cash but the offer fell through because they were fighting about wanting to keep the owners outside hot tub. So in the end, they accepted our offer and we have been living here in our dream home for 5 years and love it! I truly believe if it's meant to be it will be. You deserve the best and I have my fingers crossed for you guys! In the meantime I am having so much fun getting to see all these houses!!

The third house is my favourite! I just love the wood floors and build ins. Maybe not in fashion right now, but I love that.

Yes! After Alex and I thought about the different laundry areas it’s kind of genius- grab a basket throw your crap in and then when it’s done it’s right there to put away!!! Awesome!
Ok...here is my wish for you. If you don't get the houses you bid on, having more time in your old house will let you save more money to use as the "over the asking price" bid so you can compete with the ones that bid extra also. Fingers crossed you get your dream house!

The house with the double Jack and Jill bathrooms, you could use the kids homework room as a laundry room. Seeing as each room seems to have a desk area in it already. There is plenty of room for a 5th bedroom too!

In the 2nd house that you loved, their are desk areas everywhere. That one area where their is a big desk area between rooms...I would make that into a laundry room, keeping part of the counter for a folding station. It was beautiful outside too! Good luck!
Looks like that kids art room desk area is would be a better spot for a laundry room. Turn those laundry closets back into linen closets and you are good to go. That house was so cool though!
It seems like the pantry was originally a laundry room and they changed it but you could easily change it back, and they probably had added the extra hookups for the stackable washers upstairs to alleviate always having to. Bring their kids laundry downstairs.
No mater what house she picks, She will have to get new furniture and decor!!

Amazing. (Besides the laundry room) LOL I can’t wait for you guys to find your dream house you deserve it so much!!
Since there is SO much room in this house and the kids have an area to congregate upstairs, you could always turn the "homework room" downstairs into a nice laundry room. In the second house, you could wall in that first bar area and make that a walk-in pantry. Ha ha. Great minds think alike. I made my comment before the end of the video.
The first kitchen was amazing the slippery floors no thanks. The laundry room where all the bedrooms and bathrooms are is a luxury. I liked #3.
The upstairs laundry closets would be good for when the kids are teenagers and doing their own laundry (hopefully lol). I would swap the little room with the kids art downstairs and make it a laundry room. Perfect house for you guys. I'll be sending good vibes for your home search. Thanks for sharing!

I guessed that the house was a flip by the time you showed us the furniture, was definitely a stage standard furniture hahahahah
When we bought our house, we wrote a letter to go with our offer about what we loved about it for our family & how we were a young, growing family (I was pregnant with #3 at the time) and our offer was accepted within 2 hours. I can’t say for certain how much our letter played into our offer being accepted, but you’d be surprised how it can help! Especially when there are multiple competing offers. A good person would accept that over extra money 😊 worth the try!!

I own a condo in Clearwater beach and my realtor says a lot of out of towners are offering cash offers to basically hold houses under contract so they can fly in and see the house. If they don’t like it the walk away from the offer!!

I rather like the flipped house. You can turn some of the narrow closets into bookshelves after you remove the wire shelves. And you can create a pantry ...

Just remember, even though people put in offers well above asking price, the house has to appraise out. I have walked away from 3 houses because the house did not appraise out in Florida. Talk to your realtor regarding your options. Good luck. I’m on your side. I finally got my house of my dreams after the 4th try. Don’t settle for anything less than what you truly want.
I have a laundry closet upstairs. It was the only thing I didn't like about our house when we saw it. I absolutely love having the washer and dryer upstairs. We have 4 kids as well. It makes putting laundry away so easy. Love it so much!
I just love the double jack and Jill house. It was made for a family with 4 kids.

Kim there is 2 laundry areas, 1 stackable then another upstairs for full washer/dryer, you opened up closet didn't know what it was they took washer/dryer so looked empty

Actually there were 2 laundry rooms but she didn't realize what they second one was because it didn't have washer and dryer inside, only had the hook ups.
Id hardly call them a laundry room. Its a laundry door 🤣🤣
