it’s a very nice presentation, and very informative. Helpful to brush up my skills in vibration testing both performed in the DCS testing facility and at project site. Thanks for sharing such a nice video.

Hi Suwatchai K - To the best of my knowledge, most modern systems maintain the convention of blank-bright with forward precession regardless of the nature of the trigger. I have to confess that I have not polled every manufacturer. As for rising/falling edge, my understanding is that this is also handled differently in digital systems versus oscilloscopes - but I will look into this. (I am traveling right now so it will take a few days.) Thanks for your comment.

***** Robert (Bob) Eisenmann co-teaches our Category IV course and we have discussed this issue at length. To the best of my knowledge, if you go back to the traditional theory, what you say is correct - and that's the way it worked on an oscilloscope. And that is why it is documented that way in those two references. However, that convention has been superseded in many modern digital systems so that it is always blank-bright regardless of what the keyphasor is detecting. The main reason, as I understand it, is so that you can always quickly identify reverse precession. I wish I had Don Bently's (and co-author's) book - I am sure it was clearly stated in that reference.

Sir, For 210Kg flywheel, dia of 700Mm, dynamic balance for 4000 rpm, before balancing unbalanced grams R1=40grams,R2=50grams , after balancing R1= 0.49 grams,R2=0.51 grams , vibration is less than 2.61 is these acceptance as per standareds
