Hi Thank you for video. Where can i get Vibration Analysis Tool and the sysmac project? Can you send a link with sysmac project and Vibration analysis tool?
Hi Rafael, Thank you for your question! To obtain the VA Tool, please contact your nearest Omron office. Omron views Vibration Analysis as a service for machines and equipment, so they provide the tool as part of a comprehensive vibration analysis solution, rather than as a standalone item.
Thanks for the video I have a question, is it posible to use an USB to serial port cable to connect my OMRON CP1E 30 pin to my computer? I've been trying mutliple times but I had no success. I have my Omron connected to a desktop PC using a serial to serial cable but I need to connect it to my laptop, so I thought to use the USB to serial cable but I had not success, I tried to connect the serial-to-serial cable to the usb-to-serial cable but it didn't work. I would appreciate any help, thanks
Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. I’m not familiar with that model but I’ve got lots of experience attempting to connect with other PLCs. Always a load of laughs……I don’t know exactly what you’ve done so far. I’m sorry if I’m suggesting things you’ve already done. First of all, be sure to install the drivers for the USB to serial adaptor. Secondly, ensure that you’ve got the correct COM port selected and properly configured. That’s always a challenge. This usually involves digging into the Windows Device Manager. Good luck! Let us know if you are successful or if you have any more questions.
Hi there. This is an internal project created and executed by Omron. Are you asking about the Sysmac Studio template and/or the Vibration Analysis tool?
