    Awesome video Mark! We wanted to make drone fishing easy for everyone so great to see it in action - you're an great teacher 👌👌
    For anyone watching we just wanted to mention that Mark is using the BETA version of the Aeroo Pro. We were lucky enough to receive Mark's expert feedback and since it's initial testing phase we've made few changes to the final version which will be released very soon:
    - The camera/gimbal unit has been upgraded, it now has a brushless system and records smooth high quality footage.
    - The Aeroo Pro no longer requires calibration before every flight. The drone will occasionally ask you to calibrate, but only in areas of high interference.
    We're looking forward to your next adventure 🎣

      Cheers guys, we love the Aeroo drone and looking forward to the final release version. It's so easy to use and even a first time drone user can fly it without any problems. Also so cool that we can use it to drop burley, that's a game changer and can only be achieved with a drone that has an electronic release.

      Thanks so much, that is very encouraging feedback. If our videos are helpful then we have achieved our mission :) I can't wait to make the review of the Aeroo Drone. Just waiting for it to be officially released. But the phantom 3 is also still a very good drone for fishing.

      Be careful, once you start drone fishing you'll never go back to surfcasting 🙂😎

    Hi Mark , my AerroPro arrived at last , heading out to the local park to give it a test run .
    You say in the video , that Temu has tension release clips , found them , but which type would you recommend.
    Cheers, from a bright cloudless day here in Tauranga,
    Murray

      Hey mate, that's awesome. I'm sure you'll love the drone. I'm still waiting for the final version to arrive so I can make another video. If you search for down rigger clips on Temu there are quite a few options. They are basically just a fancy version of a clothes peg. But cheap enough.

      Have a look at the aeroo website. They sell the clips. nz.aeroodrones.com/products/safety-clips-pack-of-10

    Always try with less weight/burley on ya first flight , ya put heaps in on first try .

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  3 місяці тому

      Yeah I did fill up that yoghurt container, eh :) Agreed, it would have been safer to try with a little less first, haha. Although the weight was still only half of the max payload capacity of the drone.

    Can i fly in the rain?

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  2 місяці тому

      It can handle drizzle but not really hard rain as it's not waterproof.

    how many flights can you do with your 6 ounce sinker and two hooks set up, casting 250m away?

    Can u fly the drone out at night?

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  2 місяці тому

      Flying a drone at night is indeed possible, but it comes with significant challenges and legal considerations. The main difficulty is visibility. At night, it's hard to see the drone, so you'll mostly rely on the app's information about the drone's position, altitude, and orientation. This can make it more challenging to maintain control and avoid obstacles.
      However, it's crucial to check local regulations before attempting to fly a drone at night. Many regions have specific rules that prohibit flying a drone in low-visibility conditions or at night unless you have special permissions or equipment, such as anti-collision lights that make the drone visible in the dark. Some countries or areas might outright ban night flights to ensure safety.
      So, while it's technically possible to fly a drone at night, you must be cautious and well-informed about the local laws and the limitations of flying without direct visual contact.

      @@Fishingreminder I would only be doing it for surf fishing so no trees or anything really to get in the way. Wouldn’t I be able to use the way point so it drops the bait in the same spot as it did the last time

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  2 місяці тому

      @@ShaneWere I think it would work with waypoints, but I haven't used that feature yet. But I'll give it a try. It would only work if the drone saves the waypoints after it is turned off and on again. My old DJI Phantom didn't save waypoints between restarts but the Aeroo probably does.

    • @ShaneWere
      @ShaneWere 2 місяці тому

      @@Fishingreminder yeh the Aeroo will go back to the exact same spot that it dropped the bait previously if set so I can’t see why it wouldn’t go straight back to same spot in the dark

    if aeroo pro is Australian owned why are not they are made in australia but new Zealand people that bought your v2 drone how do they get parts for them when the sight says sold out is this whats going to happen with aeroo pro when you make another model drone also no parts why is ther no phone number to contact about these dones

    • @Fishingreminder
      @Fishingreminder  2 місяці тому +1

      I'm not sure about the v2 drone but on their website there is a support section for this drone:
      nz.aeroodrones.com/pages/support
      Just send them a message via email. They are pretty fast with their responses.
      Everything gets made in China these days and is designed in other countries. It the way the world currently works. Australia doesn't even have any factories that could produce any of the electronic components required for a drone like this.
