DNA the edges of the bases
The UA-cam shorts works well for me. Almost all of my videos present a complex idea with an introduction. The short says, just give us the idea! And 60 seconds should be enough if it is handled carefully.
I had a heck of a time with the graphics. But this forced to rethink and rethink the whole thing. Making the tiles with the bases poking out of opposite sides was a good idea and did not come to me at first.
I see a weird ignorance regarding the structure of DNA. But it seems to be going away. The TpT platform has some models that are actually pretty good. (not as good as my “Catch your breath DNA model”)
It occurs to me that the model could be further simplified: The base pair with the phosphate backbone coming off in opposite directions. This would be just two characters and each one has two possibilities, giving four total corresponding to the four base pairs.
A huge implication of this hopefully accepted image is the major groove always sees the same edges of the bases.(and the minor groove always sees the same edges) And, hopefully also understood, reading the major groove is an important part of genetic control.

UA-cam is telling me to make "shorts". Okay. I think that this will lend itself to my style of videos. Most of my videos are a complex idea with a long introduction. The idea of the 'short' is to just give the complex idea. That is what I really want to do.
