    Great video! I think this timing conception also stems from salons. Some require you to attach 100 lash extensions per eye under 2 hours which is ridiculous. Being fast or slow is not a determining factor, but giving out quality lash extensions is. Any time a client tells me different I have no problem turning them away. Thanks for this reminder.

    I knew I did a great job following you and always coming bk to you ! Im going bk into lashing since July 2021 I stopped just because I felt like I wasn’t confident because I took so loooooooooonnnnnnngggggggg to do one set I felt rushed always but I wasn’t aware of this type of positivity and mentality. Literally I’ve always thought about how long should it really take an artist to lash . BUT THANK GOD FOR YOU ! I’m going in and giving it my all with your help literally!!!! Your videos are helping me and are going to help me through the beginning of my journey bk into lashing . Thank you 🤗

      It definitely gets better! My first 2 sets took me 6 hours, I’ve only been doing 1 set every 2-3 weeks for 3 months now and I now only take 2.5-3 hours and I’m also getting majority of the lashes. Keep practicing and don’t give up 🥰

    Thank you! I have been lashing for 10 months and it still takes 2-3 hours for Classic! I have found that every client has different challenges. I have been loosing confidence because of the time it takes to do a beautiful set but this video is up building. I can’t imagine ever getting faster. My concern is pricing as I do need to make a living.

This reminded me to stop stressing because all my sets I felt so bad (all family) and would hurry up & not like my result all the way right eye is always fuller for me. Thank you so so much!!

      First of all. She is getting a FREE service so it’s her fault for not understand the criteria. Pick those tweezers back up and find a better model! Make sure you’re open with them about being new that it may take longer than expected. And make sure they use the bathroom let them know you CANNOT open your eyes and stress why that’s important due to the seriousness of the chemicals in the glue.

    When you said if you take longer than an hour youre a bad lash artist and i was shook people believe this, they must have never had a bad experience with lash extensions. I do. I got them done many times all within and hour and a half, i left with a set i didnt even ask for, within a few days my lashes were itchy and felt like they were pulling because they were rushed and stickies were everywhere, extensions were sticking together there was one lash on multiple of my natural lashes, they looked okay but they really werent, i didnt tell her she kept doing this because anxiety stopped me but i now no longer go there and havent had lashes myself in months because i lost so many, i should have got them removed but the itching and pulling sensation led me to do one thing, pull them out, and not even on purpose it was a subconscious thing, and my lashes were ruined. Im now training to be a lash tech and i do not want anyone to experience what i did cos it was awful and ruined my confidence. I want to give beautiful lashes that are applied perfectly and safely, not everyone wants to lay down for 3 hours or more but if you want good quality youll have to suck it up. Just wanted to share this because i feel bad sometimes that i take so long and then i remember what i experienced and also remember, these girls will leave with beautiful lashes that are applied right, will last for the right amount of time and they will not hurt them, irritate them or make them want to pull them out. Long comment but needed to be said so everyone is aware the longer you take sometimes really is the better. Also time is money.

      I’d say leave that salon & find somewhere else, or do your own buisness, because everyone has different lashes, it all depends on the clients lashes , also making sure every lash is lashed perfectly, avoiding stickies too. Definitely takes longer . I do my classics/ Russians in 3 hours & my clients are fine with this because they understand quality over time !

    • @lknagzz5405
      @lknagzz5405 2 роки тому

      At the salon im at my boss is very open & understanding since im new( lashing for 7 months) and she'll usually book me 2hrs full sets with 30mins before the next client INCASE im not finished! And 1.5hour for a refill which is fine for me!
      In your case id honestly say to try and leave that place and find elsewhere or be your own boss! every client has different lashes/difficulty it would be nearly impossible to do a full set + check for stickies in only 1🥺

      That's the thing about working for someone else. It's all about the money and how many clients you need to take during the day. They don't care if your work is good or not they just want those clients in and out. Have you tried buying a humidifier for your room or are you even allowed to have one? It will help the glue dry faster.
