I’ve never been to Ireland but I grew up in a very Irish neighborhood here in Queens, NY. A lot of my neighbors were from Kerry so hearing this song brings me back to my childhood. Erin Go Bragh!!!!
JD Proctor , I also grew up in Queens NY. My neighborhood was mainly Irish too. My mom grew up in Ireland and played Irish music on the radio and on our record player. I grew up listening to this music so hearing this beautiful choir takes me back to our apartment and listening to my mom singing along to the music. 🇨🇮
Beautiful voices and lyrics. What kind of people can give this a thumbs down?
This song is so beautiful. Y'all are amazing singers.
After 14 years being sung, is today the day this song finally enters our full consciousness? I was in the Aviva stadium for Ireland v Scotland and the rendition that day was stirring. Watch Peter O'Mahony sing it he believes in the words and the unity and respect within it's lyrics. Beautiful rendition from this UCD choir!
I absolutely love this song. You deserve your independence. My Irish ancestors left beforehand. I’ll say this, sometimes I wish that I lived in Ireland instead of the US.
Wow I never thought I could produce happy tears until I listened to this song, absolutely stunning. 😍
I would love to hear your version of green fields of France and that's just for a start. You lads and lasses are fantastic🍀
A stadium full of people singing this at an Irish national team home rugby match will send shivers down your spine. They don't need a haka.
Beautiful. Well done Oisin and all the choir members
I live in Utah but my ancestors are from Antrim, I would love to visit there someday.
Un chant qui rassemble toute l'Irlande ! Bravo à vous fier et respectable Peuple Irlandais !! La France vous aime !!!
Wow absolutely phenomenal! One of my absolute favorite Irish songs!
best class ever .
This right here has to be one of the most beautiful arrangements of this song ever! Fantastic performance 💕
I've heard this repeatedly in 2019 RWC Japan. What a great A Cappella!!
I have just came across this choit today what a joy thanks.
That was beautiful.
what a beautiful tune ... I wish you would post more of your choral

the ireland is really wonderful
Love this song. My grandmother was born in Co Mayo 1890. She immigrated to New York 1910. I’m now a Texan and love my Irish roots
Hi, I'm a french choir director and I find this arrangement really beautiful. I would like to sing it with my choir, but unfortunately the score is no more available on the web site Seolta Music. Someone could tell me where I can find it? Thank you.
Goosebumps.
Just great!
What a wonderful Song!
Tell Ireland I miss her
Nancy Benefiel lovely.I will do.
She misses you too.
Erin feels the loss of every one of her sons and daughters, born or bred.
She hears your call!!
Vraiment magnifique des voix d'anges
que dieu vous bénisse
Lovely song and lovely ladies 😍

I love you guys! I have your album and never tire of it. My family are from Mayo. God bless!
I'll be damned if that is not Barney Stinson singing there! Love it, though. Awesome
The Orphan Girl! Mah heart, mah soul!
Someday , soon, there will be no more talk of Protestant and Catholic, but only in which of the four provinces of Ireland do you live?
Some day I have to get there try to find the family

정원준 Erin, go braless!

Sicuramente gli irlandesi hanno un orgoglio nazionale fuori dal comune☘️!!! E così dovrebbe essere per tutti i paesi del mondo!! Questa corale è veramente fantastica!!! 👏👏👏🎆🎇🎆🎇
roots in Liscannor,county Claire
They have done well with this song I enjoy there rendition
And people wonder why Ireland consistently punches above its weight culturally. Where else could one harvest such a crop of beautiful people who can also make such sweet sounds?
fucking love it
asked and answered
beyond flesh!!!!
gooddddd
Brilliant, (But how did you get the young Donald Sutherland to sing with you?
My ancestors hail from Cork and Clare. Not sure which province they are in though. Or if they’re even in the same province
abby molloy i love you
reminiscing dublin's day haha
Oireland 😉
Dear Irland......
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL ARCHIPELAGO VERSION OF A NATION UNITING ANTHEM DEVOID OF POLITICAL PREJUDICE
@John UNMIK, don't you mean "a capella," rather than archipelago, which means a chain of islands?
when I first heard this I wasn't impressed a bit like when I heard Flower of Scotland on an early Corries recording now both make the hairs on my neck stand on end especially when played at rugby internationals
😇🤗😘
hi, we (German vocal ensemble) want to sing this beautiful arrangement. The rhytmic lyrics between the verses seem to be gaelic. Can somebody please write them down here for me, so we will hopefully find the right pronunciation too. Thank you for your help! :-)
+Frank Maienschein Hi Frank, it is best to contact the Choral Scholars directly: ucdchoralscholars.ie/contact.php - good luck with your version.
politically dodgy..
Why dodgy? Think about the context (historical, Background of the original writer/singer, and so on) respect it for it as it is and dont fall into the prejudice of "political correctness". It is allways a pleasure to be gentle to another human being - but dont overstretch this gentleness into a compulsive behaviour that censores all free words and meanings.
@@martynnotman3467, you have my pity you PC Facist.
brilliant

À little bit too fast for me, but still, beautiful voices
This should be the Irish national anthem or perhaps used as an inspiration to make one better.
#AwarenessConsciousness
I have already sang that song and its very difficult. Trust me! And I can speak gaelic fluently...
+*Georgiana McFinnor*
What does Gaeilge have to do with this song? (At least, as it's presented here.)
Besides, if you were truly rooted in the Irish language, you'd know to call it "Irish" and not "gaelic".
I wepr. Think of those brave Irishmen who answered the call to fight alongside British soldiers against the Nazis. They fought a more horrible evil than the evil the British had done to them. Many were scorned. But they could look back on their life, as my father could, knowing they were instruments of God's peace. Would that we all answer "Ireland's Call."
the good guys lost
My daughter thinks the lead singer is cute. Anyone know how to get in touch with him?
yey
What is Ireland but a mere chunk of soil if it’s filled with non-Irish?
Up the ra
Phuk da Ra! Up true Irish patriotism. Onward Irish Nationalism. True patriotism. Phuc da commies.
are you all lds? cause im, and the place look like chapel and each one there its a lds face
England has no conscious
الله يلعن القدر
Antrim's park of UK and settled by Scots centuries ago.

Irelands call is BOLLOXS
I love your other stuff,,,but this has to be the most cringeworthy song ever written in Ireland!
Hate the militant nationalistic tone of this song. Fighting has made very many unhappy, Ireland should not be proud of that.
It is musically very beautiful though, sublimely sung.
There are things a whole lot worse than fighting when its appropriate...like the cowardice of doing nothing to vanquish evil. Defending the weak and what's right is never wrong, no matter the circumstances.
jepz11 So,being an independant country with self-determination isn't worth fighting for? As that was the only way to GET that independence? Please your majesty,we don't want to be part if your united kingdom any longer? Not likely. The US had to fight for its freedom. The Scots tried. No people or country has ever won free of oppression by appealing to the moral sense of those who withhold that freedom.Ireland has every right to be proud of winning their independence.
jepz11 yes but the irish are known for being resiliant and standing together even through the worst of times, it is a beautiful song representing the Irish
jepz11 dude u miss the point.
jepz11 yes farm to table
Great arrangement. But why? Sorry Des. I blame Cool Filter. Just can't warm to this. Amhrán ni bhFiann is the only song for me. Play God Save the Queen as well if we must at Rugby but not this horrific thing.
