Kokomi seems overly insane dps wise. If you have a lvl 10 e with 40k hp (easy to get bc u don't need crit) you would be doing 100k dmg PER RIPPLE, over 12 seconds.That's without any hydro dmg bonus. And then on top of that she can heal??? she just seems like an unkillable beast.
We should not jump to conclusions, if you read the description it seems to just mean that her E does multiple instances of healing over 12s + one instance (up front) of hydro damage.
Sigh... It seems there was a screw-up with the description of the E ability, and apparently it does damage in ticks, but it scales off of atk, not max hp... Welp!
The walking on water is a nice addition, but it would be better if they actually synergize it on her ult like turning the surrounding ground into water that can drown mobs or more wet uptime.

Wouldn't be a bit better if they just scrape off the idea to save effort right? It just feels like a waste of a feature if its only gets used 5% of the time. I'm pretty sure too in a game company with hundreds of programmers can probably work around it, or if not possible, they can atleast put a little twist on her kit that can put use to that.
My only hydro character îs Barbara and i also main her as healer. I really want kokomi she seems to be very strong and fit for my playgame. My Main dps în yanfei and i think those two will pair up really well
I’m still pulling for kokomi even though I think it’s pretty useless having to activate your ultimate to walk on water. I think they should make it like her passive kinda like Mona and ayaka. And I know what you are thinking, it’s pretty overpowered to walk on water without taking up any stamina but if you really think about it the mona sprint lets you do it on land and gives enemies around the area a hydro effect.
I found this channel because im obsessed with this character. When you look at her percentages and you realize that she is a on the field spam fest. That she wants to keep her skill on the field for as long as possible and she wants to keep popping her ult its just so enticing. There really needs to be a discussion on dmg and how much is actually needed in the game. When i calculate her dmg she out dpses my current team. And my current team destroys the game…so thats the thing. Its like i wonder how many people realize her dmg is enough. The only time it may need to go higher is spiral abyss but for that youll probably vape. Also i have seen solo mona runs. If mona can do spiral abyss solo…looking at the multipliers i dont see how kokomi would need any more dmg
its quite obvious that her e skill wont do that much dmg. a 150% (all talents lvl10) aoe dmg that ticks on an e with 100% uptime off an hp stat, which is in nature 12+ times bigger than the atk stat. she wont have that. they either added a 0 too much and it will do 15% of hp as dmg or it scales off atk. i guess its going to be 15% off hp because if you look at her burst and talent, you also get around 15% off hp as dmg added to her autoattacks (the talent buff is definitely additive cuz otherwise the gained dmg would be too low). also it would just make 0 sense, if her inital burst dmg made only 19% while her e ticks continously with 150%. the leak is a 100% uncorrect on atleast that stat. but dont worry, she will still deal tons of dmg with her autoattack, if build correctly. her normal attacks will each hit over 15k without resistance, with decent artifacts (hp/hydro/heal) and her signature weapon. her e will do similar dmg, if its based on 15% off hp.
Aaaand nevermind she is just technically now elegant barbara since it was actually revealed that she relies on ATK% for her E and HP% for her ult, sucks:((
actually it’s unlikely that this is the case, i’m pretty sure she’s supposed to scale her skill dmg with hp and mihoyo just messed her gameplay up in the beta testing. her signature weapon doesn’t have anything to do with atk% which would make it unlikely for her skill to scale with it. on top of this, atk scaling is the default so it would make sense if they forgot to change it to hp for the gameplay, its less likely that they messed up the description

So, unless they just intend to keep max hp but lower the numbers considerably (I reeeaaally hope this is the case), I'm not really surprised to find out it's atk after all...

So Kokomi should still get the HP% scaling. Also like I said it's still the beta, MHY should know what they are gonna do with this character

you're not saying she can be capable of doing 45-60k dmg with her skill per tick which means u get 90-120k in 4s without even couting EM, vap or any other bonuses just on her own with around 40k hp which is doable with the hp set 2pc, hat and hourglass hp%, hydro set 2pc and hydro dmg goblet and the book of 3* and get a bunch of hp% substats which is totally doable. the insane thing is if u manage to buff her with kazuha and lower hydro resistance to the enemies, and u also vap those hits u can do more than double thaat ammount per tick which is insane and u can even maintain dat jellyfish on field hahahaha so yeah she's broken

Probably 2 piece Tenacity mixed with whatever you want. Noblesse for burst dmg, HOD for hydro dmg, maiden for more heals, Shimenawas for more ATK. They all are worth testing to see what fits your team synergy.

As of right now, 2 piece tenacity of the milileth with 2 piece heart of depth seems to be the best option (or 2 piece tenacity with 2 piece gladiators) hp % sands and circlet, hydro damage cup
@@Hiofkfb personally i find that a hydro cup with 2 pc tenacity would be better than full hp only because her ascension stat is hydro damage bonus, and that would help her overall kit since her elemental skill is where most of her damage comes from. Guess we’ll have to wait until she’s released so we can test out her best builds

Pretty much as if now giving kokomi's crit rate is useless since it's just going to go away meaning you do not need crit rate or crit dmg artifacts for kokomi. Hp is a big part of kokomi's healing and damage so i would not recommend building her without hp
it only says crit rate decreases by 100% meaning if you can somehow get her crit rate to over 100% you can crit. at least i think so. but its never worth it to go over 100% crit rate, even with this interesting passive.
the team im planning to have is sucrose, kokomi, bennett or yanfei and beidou or fischl (might have 2 teams though so im not too sure) i have her guaranteed so im SO THANKFUL i lost my pity to ayaka but got qiqi.. i just hope that mihoyo utilizes her stack properly bcs i want to be able to make her a main dps 😐‼️

2pc hydro bonus (if dps) 2pc tenacity 4pc maidens (healing) with information making her elemental skill based off her atk, we can try 2pc atk 18% (shimegawa/gladiator) w hydro bonus We aren’t as sure so don’t be like me and waste my resin for artifacts early, wait until there’s a final confirmation to know what her kit is or do a barbara style 4pc wanderer with vaporize
if she makes other characters wet then thats a deal breaker coz its so annoying.. that’s the only reason i hate barbara. I was planning to pull for her but that wet application on teammates is just like helping enemies to kill your squishy main dps.

The damage from her E is based off atk. Everything about healing is based off max hp.

Actually xingqiu does apply wet status but he is one of the best sub dps out here, and it is not so annoying as it sounds like so it's not a big deal
