You can only use this effect of "Gigantic Spright" once per turn.

Making Yugioh healthy would require banning, at least, 30% of the total extra deck monsters and not replacing them with new cards.

Nah there are like select problematic cards that do specific things. Like we already know an extra deck monster that dumps anything to grave is busted from lavalval chain and curious but Beatrice is still around. And Beatrice enables ftks because degenerate traps are around.

Fiend Smith is going to be a really annoying mistake by Konami, is going to be basically Knigtmare Mermaid all over again.
Two cards being equal to a fiends smith full combo is just dumb, specially since it is likely just going to be the default play if the main play gets stopped or as an additional level of BS that basically every deck can do on top of their boards, is basically going back to Predaplant Anaconda levels of BS.
With shit like this being printed we are never leaving the 12+ handtrap, 1 card starters BS formats in which we throw hand traps and pray to god the opponent does not have another 1 card starter that get to full board anyways.

We need better rule stipulations for what effects can do. Its no way one player can be able to have 4+ forms of interruptions with no draw back.

Wasn't 2019 one of the most fond times for us in the TCG? I remember DANE format. Any two monsters were full orcust combo. I don't particularly understand the "worse" part. I look at INFO and see, we got a good set around the corner. I know for most of this always unhappy community, INFO is the end of yugioh.

It’s important to look at the context surrounding both formats. Toss (for the most part) wasn’t a widely disliked hand trap war as is this one. The new cards in INFO + closed sky wouldn’t put us back into orcust format, the game is much faster, decks are more resilient and have more layered interaction.
A new generic engine (depending on the banlist) could make the format even less enjoyable, because SE gets even more powerful and more resilient. I also agree that INFO is a good set, I think I implied it when I said that I’m excited to see how the format develops and how different decks perform if SE’s power level gets tweaked.
