Creature dwellings, castle upgrades, town hall upgrades, and certain other buildings all increase arrow tower damage. Basically, building anything that's related to creatures, as opposed to the economy (with the exception of the town hall upgrades) increases arrow tower damage.

Love how you handle everything as a resource: movement points, heroes, hero pressures, locations, creatures. I've already learned a lot (I played 25 years ago first with HoMM III but I was never an expert of it), and it is amazing to watch you through this journey. And one more thing: I admire that you correct every tiny mistake during the edit. Very tideous work yet you invest the energy. Awesome video!
omg 54:14 that was so intense!! i could literally tell how hopeless you were and even made a mistake not defending gogs out of despair it was so close really inspiring and suspenful fight gj!!!!!
I think those Unicorns kept defending because you always had them blocked off. They were on the moat, spikes etc so they were getting hurt each turn, making them focus on that damage instead of fighting. Kinda neat.

Hey, don't u use breakdowns for heroes? For example, u could have broken Aiden into Castle, then bring him army with Clavius and Vokial (hire 1 more hero if needed), than attack Clensy (it's like 25 minutes and forward) Sorry for my English, I play Heroes on my native language
I am playing the homm3 Hd version on steam. Not complete. It seems like my moats never do damage when defending or attacking. Only the mines from tower. Is this a bug? A setting I can change? Does it only slow you in the non-complete version?
In case this is still relevant, moats only began to do damage in the second expansion, Shadow of Death. Homm 3 HD version is based on the vanilla version of the game.
