- This beautiful castle and grounds are on the Meggen peninsula overlooking Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. This 17th century castle is family owned and operated, used today as a venue for events and weddings. It is a very serene and peaceful spot with the most spectacular views! We loved it so much that we went back a second time.
