- Continuing our series on Everest Base Camp. Technically the actual journey began here, from Phakding. We trekked to Namche Bazar which is at an elevation of 3440 metres. We captured our good moments and struggles in this episode. Enjoy the journey as it continues.

To answer your questions: Our package deal covered accommodations, Lukla flight, food, guide, and porter services. Additional expenses included water, snacks, internet, and device charging at higher altitudes.
For tipping, allocate 10-15% of your trek cost for the guide and porter. If you've booked through a travel agency, we recommend confirming tip amounts with them beforehand. They'll advise on minimum expectations.
