Thank you! Because of this video, I requested a more definitive test. T4 was just a bit low and vet wanted to start thyroid meds. Which led me to your video. From what I could see, my pet had no symptoms except his age. The tests came back normal thus avoiding life time Thyroid replacement hormone meds and second guessing myself. You’re right, the test was not cheap but well worth it. Thanks again!

It's a common side effect of neutered or spayed animals

My dog was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. He didn’t show the symptoms you’ve described, the vet did say his symptoms were not typical of the disease. He stopped eating his dinner, we were feeding him dry food and canned food. We swapped his canned food, and he would start to eat it, but then after a couple of days he’d stop eating again. He also had motor issues, where he would loose balance easily, and had a bit of a head wobble. This lead me to believe that his issues are diet related, but he’s been on thyroxine for 12 years of his life (he was diagnosed around 2years). I just don’t know what the “natural diet’ of the dog really is to see if at least help stabilise his levels lowering, as we might have to increase his medication soon - which I’d like to avoid.

It's a very common occurrence in any animal that has their sex organs removed....oops! The vet forgot to mention this!?

Vet office didn't give me pills for my puggle low thyroid can low thyroid kill my dog? My puggle is only 5 years old what can I do to help her with low thyroid and get the vet to help her?

My dogs were losing their coats, and they weren’t itching at all. The vet recommended a pill to fight a virus, although he didn’t know what kind it was. One month later, their coats came back to life, but it did cost me a pretty penny.

Buy a bottle of wheat germ oil. Put 1 tablespoon on his food each time you feed him ...avoid dog foods with corn or wheat in them.
Also wheat germ oil can be used directly on the dry skin area. Try it, results are very quick. This therapy is also used on horses

The irony is humans can get this medication and supplements for FAR cheaper than going to the vet. We're paying pet tax!

Eating macadamia nuts will cause temporary paralysis in the rear legs of dogs...also bad breeding like in French bulldogs

I would research serrapeptase and try this. It could also be a response to lectins or oxalates in the diet. And add healthy fats to his food. Extra Virgin olive oil, wheat germ oil, avocado oil etc....

Start feeding him high quality food with less ingredients; Salmon and peas or Lamb and rice
Avoid all corn and wheat foods! Most dry kibble is garbage so be very selective about foods you buy🙏🙏🙏
