Great video. A lot of the sites I work on, use of the angle grinder is classed as 'hot works' so there are more permits and safeguards involved than using jigsaws / hacksaws. If it is just a small installation, it is often quicker and easier to do the work without the grinder.
On the back edge of the piece your folding score it with a few passes of a scribe and it gives the metal a point to fold at and you will end up with a nice square clean corner on the fold. And also where you overlap the 2back side cut one side off at 45' and it gives the look of a mitred finish
Good call on the scribe! I was careful to follow the guide in the college book in terms of the cuts. I usually mitre both angles in the back so they meet on my own cuts. Thanks for the input, the more ideas and chat on this the better. Awesome
As mentioned in the video that wasn't possible and sometimes isn't. Was an issue for a while in the global supply chain. Knowing how to make your own is no bad thing.
Great job 🫡

How many times did you try and blow the swarf away with the face shield on? 🤣
Can't beat buying a manufactured angle from the wholesalers

Good
Excellent tutorial. I haven’t used Galv trunking for about 10 years. They don’t use it in Aussie.
Thanks, I miss making my own cuts tbh. I still think it's more cost effective to make. But what do I know lol.
