We usually leave the cat fur hanging on the tree for birds to collect to keep their nest warm.
Just an FYI, if you use any sort of flea treatment on your pets' fur, don't put its fur out for the birds. Baby birds are extremely sensitive to all sorts of chemicals. Also, long strings, long human hairs can be harmful, whether the baby bird inadvertently eats some, or it can become wrapped around their legs, cutting off circulation, and can lead to loss of limb.
This isn't just directed at you specifically bonnie, but to anyone that puts hair or fur out for birds.
@@Kittyintheraiyn No worries, we make sure there are no human hairs or anything foreign items when we leave our cats or bunnies furs out. . Our cats and bunnies dont have fur treatments as well. We only leave out furs that are “healthy” since we also know that if our cats and bunnies have skin problems our pets will pass that along and might infect other animals. That’s why we are very careful and our pets furs are well maintained. Thank you for the info💕

My mom and I save yarn scraps and pet fur from brushing to give to the birds in our backyard. We have a suet feeder we put a slightly smaller mesh over and the birds adore it every nesting season!

Those cats do not like that rough combing. Do you not think those noises are from pain? If you go slower you won’t pull the fur so hard.
I was thinking the same. Should use a brush and then a comb.

You can make 10 wigs with those fur.
You can also leave it in the garden for birds to build their nests

So much cat fur collected from all the cats. They all look nice after the grooming and their fur can be useful for something ie bird's-nest.
I get the same results when I brush my cat. He's not a ragdoll but kind of looks like one. I'll bet all that fur would make great stuffing for a pillow.

my raggy leaves errant hairs almost nonstop, but I find she doesn't really shed, even when I brush her
You always have a comb. Do you ever use a brush? That one may be easier for cats with either long or much fur
Everytime I see a combing video, I'm always convinced they should use/buy a different brush.

Those combs hurt
Some parts of the feathers are tangled and they hurt when you use the comb aggressively.. you can comb the hair in smoller areas or you can also comb by holding it with your hand. Please dont get me wrong, I just thought you should be a little more polite😊

Mine is fluffy like Manon but he doesn't shed nearly as much. I use the same comb too. I think you're brushing them too hard like you're literally pulling on their coats, their meows don't like like they're annoyed, they're literally in pain

Giselle hangs around Hazel as she vacuuming all the invisible fur the cats are leaving behind. She leaves when the vacuum comes close to her but she still hangs around wanting Hazel's attention. Lucas arrives and Giselle pokes him but greets him respectfully afterwards. Lucas then follows Hazel downstairs and watches her clean the litter box. It's shedding season and the cat's fur is all over the house. Hazel cleans all the invisible fur where the cats are staying like the sofa and the mat. Nanna politely makes way for Hazel to clean then returns to her favorite spot when she is done. Hazel wants to brush the cats to reduce the shedding and Manon goes first as she already positioned herself for brushing. When Hazel is brushing her, Nanna meows asking Hazel for her turn as she loves to be brushed. Manon's fur spread all over Hazel's sweater and Terry sneezes because of the fur. Manon gets upset afterwards and meows as she doesn't like how hard the brushing is but endures it and even does it while standing up. Manon sheds a lot of fur during the brushing when she is done, she gets angry. Gemma is getting fluffier and has a ruff, she could look more like Grandma Chloe when she is older. Gucci wants to play with her but she is not in the mood. Nanna finally gets her turn and enjoys her brushing she is calm as she enjoys the brushing. Meanwhile, Gucci stills wants to play with Manon and nags around er but she is still unhappy and hisses at her, Gucci ignores and still pokes her. Nanna meows loudly when she is done probably asking for more and out of nowhere Gucci hits her. As a punishment, he goes next and absolutely hates it. He meows loudly and angrily when Hazel brushes his armpit area and then growls as he dislikes it a lot. He is calm when his neck is brushed but gets angry when Hazel brushes the back of his head and he escapes naturally as he is brushed at the back. Gucci shed a lot of fur but doesn't want of it around him as he pushes Hazel's hand away from him. Gemma gets upset and meows angrily as she finds the brushing painfully as she has a lot more fur. Afterwards, Gemma vents her anger on Manon and then turns to Gucci. The two start venting their anger on each other and start fighting. Gucci wins the battle and Gemma feels embarrassed as she crouches under the chair. Lucas is surprisingly calm and even purrs when is brushed but when it gets to the armpit area, he gets angry and starts to bit Hazel. He meows loudly as she brushes his back. From the little brushing she did, he shed a lor of fur. Grandma Chloe is calm at first as she allows Hazel brush her back and her stomach but when Hazel brushes her bum area, she becomes upset and meows. Hazel brushes the rest of the cats like Jull, Giselle, and Google and they were all calm. The fur was piling up a lot from brushing all 11 cats. It was difficult because the cats shed a lot and some of them are impatient so they can't be brushed properly. Great video from the butlers.
