My favorite byakuya moments 1. Senkei senbonzakura kageyoshi vs koga (absolutely STUNNING scene, and the translation: massacre scenes felt soooo majestic, even koga acknowledged its beauty. I love how the pink passed through koga's pupils it felt so surreal 2. Byakuya vs ichigo, loved the surprised ichigo and his reaction to all senbonzakura stages. The numerous states byakuya showcased was sooo hype for me!
Out of all the Zanpakutou in the series, this is the one that best represents its wielder, in my opinion. Byakuya's elegant but ruthless fighting style is perfectly represented by Senbozakura's aesthetic and abilities; I also feel that Byakuya is one of the most well-rounded fighters in Soul Society, which is reflected by the sheer versatility of his Bankai. Also, if I recall correctly, cherry blossoms are associated with the ability to gracefully accept one's fate and, most importantly, the idea of renewal: the former referencing how Byakuya never hesitated to put his life on the line to protect both Soul Society and those he cared about, and the latter referencing his admittedly awesome character arc after the loss of Hisana.
According to the databooks the best all rounders are unohana kyoraku Gin and hitsugaya . But yes byakuya is not the most powerful or the fastest or the smartest but he is always quite good
@@marionarda2790 to bad we never see gin actually fight seriously, but Byakuya is good at reading his opponents which might be better than just having latent skill. also how is hitsugaya an all rounder i don't think his uses one piece of kido, but i do assume that all captains can use kido up to a certain point without using the incantation, just how high can they go is the question

Byakuya is literally my favorite captain in the series. Like he had a tragic past between his love or his place as a noble and you can ser how he loved rukias sister. So when he was torned off between following the rules when he had to kill rukia, i see sense so how people give crap to renji for hurting rukia for doing his job is unfair. But both characters cared a lot for her. So yeah all of his fights are great. Great character great development.

I honestly think it would have been a beautiful way to send off his character. For the most of the series he scolds Ichigo, even told Ichigo in the "Fake Karakura Town Arc" He tells him he is not qualified to be in the Gotei 13 before he goes to battle Aizen. Even though he grown accustomed to him and respected him, He is not a man that presents those emotions to anybody . Thats why the part where he pleaded with him to save Seireitei, was powerful, his main purpose was to protect the place he loved and honor the family name. He had to ask an outsider while he is dying, to save soul society, someone that he once viewed as being inferior to him . It could have ended right there for me, I would have been salty cause that is my favorite character, but it would have been great send off. Then he came back in such a way that was true to his character . While Rukia fighting As Nodt , he comes back tells Rukia she is now formidable in skill. She always wanted some type of acknowledgement from him, so that meant the world to her, I really enjoyed that. And Then he turns his back on the man that almost killed him, like your that arrogant of an asshole to turn your back on someone who almost killed you lol He viewed him just as he viewed Zommari Rureaux,. While the correct move may have been to kill him, I loved that moment.
I really love how Kubo designs things in Bleach, and Senbonzakura is one of his best designs even if some of its best qualities are not directly shown. If you think of the Shikai as a branch of a tree, then the Bankai (when first released) is a grove of trees. Byakuya standing at the front of a sakura grove with all the branches in full bloom and then allowing them to scatter to defeat his enemies is such a quality aesthetic that some people might not realize.

In his fight with Tsukishima, I loved how re reacted to his fullbring. Even with the inserted memories he was like "You're an enemy of Ichigo. That's all I need to fight.", or something like that. So badass!

@GOD OF ART I'm pretty sure Byakuya is fast enough to be able to slice apart Gaara before the sand could become an actual threat lol. I mean Lee was able to bypass the defenses of Gaara through the 8 gates which means hypothetically that Byakuya could just shunpo right behind Gaara and slice him.

While the speed scaling is different but I don't think he's too much faster than the people that garra fights Not to mention if it's in the desert But byakuya probably has enough fire to glass the sand so he'd probably still win

I remember seeing Bleach for the first time in my life in france (i'm italian) when i was 13. It was the scene where Byakuya butchered Ganju with his shikai, i had no idea about anything but i knew immediately that guy was the shit.

construction ideas for Byakuya that he was too poetic or lacked initiative to make: - the floor is lava, construct an outer (or inner) layer of blades within the floor and/or walls and attack at will through spikes, leaving the enemy minimal room to stop and think or even attack. - construct armour out of the blades (would need to break the blades whole boundary rule, and would require minute control over the blade if you dont want to be made into mince by the time you call back the blade, though worth it since you're basically untouchable) - less of a construction, but showering the opponents general area before sending quick bursts through the other blades to confuse them (like shooting a bullet through a cloth, opponents too distracted by said cloth to react to the gun) - could construct puppets out of the blades that fight with the blade form of senbonzakura

I think while Ulquiorra got a more amazing fight I just... I really didn't like how he died if that makes sense? the just dissolving instead of being actually cut down made his death feel cheaper than it probably actually was.

Imagine this, if Byakuya and Rukia worked together, Rukia would use her Hakuren to freeze the opponent, then Byakuya would finish him off by using his Shikai or Bankai to shatter the frozen opponent. How cool would that have been?
For the sen-bon sakura kanji. The 本 'bon' kanji is used as a counter. For instance, in japanese you use different counters when referring to things (which helps since japanese is a contextual language). Bon is used for long thin things in reference to the blades. So yeah
Have loved this series immensely. I hope more Bleach videos are to come. Gotta say I loved Byakuya/Renji more than any other Byakuya fight as well. That, and the Tsukushima fight.
It seems that his blade is limited only by what his imagination can produce. There should be a wide variety of ways that he could construct his blade to attack or defend.
Also, Senbonzakura would basically melt if it went near Barragon. Like snow falling into a fire. Likewise, Soifon only has 1 weapon and no fancy techniques beyond speed. As soon as Zamari used his Resurrection, she'd be screwed.
The one thing I wish he did [or any other captain for that matter], was to combo with Kido + martial arts. I mean imagine Byakuya rushing an opponent while cladding himself in sebonzakura [as an armor as insurance against blind enemy attacks] as well as using it as a blind side attack against his enemy. Couple this with various kido to throw the enemy off guard.
I'd say his sword is less like Legos than it is like a paintbrush. He can paint his masterpiece, and his abilities are only limited by his own artistic talent. He even acknowledged this against As Nodt when he fought him in his shikai after training at the soul palace.
Bleach was the first anime i ever really got into and i remember thinking Senbonzakura was the coolest idea in the world back when i was 16 watching it... It still ranks pretty highly tbh
I'm so sad this series is done ... and Byakuya vs Renji was epic... their relationship really changed after that... it was subtle ... but there. Anyways, thanks for doing this series and this was the perfect ending to this. But my fav was actually him taking on Kōga Kuchiki

I think logically, the pink color would make sense for Senbonsakura Kageyoshi. The fact that the blade is originally whitish-gray, the combination of constantly slashing and killing opponents, with the blood flying all over the place, most likely the blood would spread onto the chips of the blade, coloring it pink, and with the light, it would make the petals shine.

Imagine this, if Byakuya and Rukia worked together, Rukia would use her Hakuren to freeze the opponent, then Byakuya would finish him off by using his Shikai or Bankai to shatter the frozen opponent. How cool would that have been?
For the sen-bon sakura kanji. The 本 'bon' kanji is used as a counter. For instance, in japanese you use different counters when referring to things (which helps since japanese is a contextual language). Bon is used for long thin things in reference to the blades.

It seems that his blade is limited only by what his imagination can produce. There should be a wide variety of ways that he could construct his blade to attack or defend.
Soi Fon should have fought Zamari. Byakuya Vs. Barragan would be a fantastic fight
Soi fon is faster than him and she was barely able to escape respira. Byakuya would have died.
Also, Senbonzakura would basically melt if it went near Barragon. Like snow falling into a fire. Likewise, Soifon only has 1 weapon and no fancy techniques beyond speed. As soon as Zamari used his Resurrection, she'd be screwed.
Bankai never come back if Broken. It would be really sad if Byakuya lost all of his flower petals to decay.
The one thing I wish he did [or any other captain for that matter], was to combo with Kido + martial arts. I mean imagine Byakuya rushing an opponent while cladding himself in sebonzakura [as an armor as insurance against blind enemy attacks] as well as using it as a blind side attack against his enemy. Couple this with various kido to throw the enemy off guard.

I'd say his sword is less like Legos than it is like a paintbrush. He can paint his masterpiece, and his abilities are only limited by his own artistic talent. He even acknowledged this against As Nodt when he fought him in his shikai after training at the soul palace.
Bleach was the first anime i ever really got into and i remember thinking Senbonzakura was the coolest idea in the world back when i was 16 watching it... It still ranks pretty highly tbh
Byakuya and Sosuke are two best examples to illustrate powerful but flexible captains in all four shinigami fighting styles.

I think logically, the pink color would make sense for Senbonsakura Kageyoshi. The fact that the blade is originally whitish-gray, the combination of constantly slashing and killing opponents, with the blood flying all over the place, most likely the blood would spread onto the chips of the blade, coloring it pink, and with the light, it would make the petals shine.
