I made a coffee truck and I have a major issue with the water supply and plumbing! 1. My water supply is 2 x 1000 Litre tanks that are outside the truck. We don’t have fresh water supply to the truck. 2. Inside the truck I have a 100L drain tank that sits under the sink. But my issue is that I have a pitcher rinser that drains tons of steamed milk and sugary sauces. The stink that is trapped from the drain tank is unreal! Do you know how to deal with something like this?
Unfortunately I do not, I don't use that much water as something like a coffee, or even a smoothie truck to clean every single time you blend something. That's a tough one, maybe a local plumber can take a look
Just depends on power consumption. They both work. It's just like have a gas car or electric car, same result different fuel source. I personally prefer Propane bc I don't add that to my generator usage
Frank, in DuPage County is your plumbing being inspected? Considering you're doing it yourself I'm assuming it is not. I'm up in McHenry County and was recently informed that there will be an inspection on the plumbing which leads me to believe they would prefer a licensed plumber do the install...I'd rather do it myself.
Hello neighbor. Yes I did it myself and here with us they do not inspect plumbing. No licensed plumber required in DuPage County unless it has changed.
@@fbaltierrez the application I received from the county says nothing about it so I will try and fight it for sure. 😂 We shall see. Thanks for the quick response man. I gotta come down and have some food from your truck some time.
How wide are both tanks combined laying next to each other? From the back of the grey to the front of the fresh? Thank for your help and for such great videos!
Would never have gotten so far with my build if it wasn’t for you Frank! Been following you since your very first build and it’s safe to say you’ve been inspirational! Thank you and god bless

No idea on cost. They fluctuate too much. I just called around local metal distributors. Aluminum was from metal supermarkets about $180 a sheet but that was a couple months ago
Frank; Great info as always! My only concern is having the Power Outlet under the Water Heater or below the Sinks in general. (If it gets wet?) BTW I used a SEAFLO 12v pump like that one in a tiny house for 2 years and it ran off the battery bank and was a Champ!:)~ The Plug in type is rated " Industrial" . That's the difference.
Great points. It would be like having the garbage disposal outlet underneath your kitchen sink. I was tempted to use the 12v in the beginning but decided not to
@@fbaltierrez true and easy enough to swap for a GFCI outlet:) BTW I’m currently building my food truck and ordered the pump you got. Instead of the 12v. The plug in type I think is more powerful? Will see. Keep up the great work! Appreciate it!
I would never do it personally. Too much electricity and the generator size would be pretty massive, that's just how I see it. I don't even like Electric stoves in my house I changed it to natural gas 🤣
Thank you for the quick reply! I’m building a big red also. But, what I am catering too does not use grease or open flame. I noticed you use a 30 amp generator but I think with everything I have using electric I better use a 50 amp shouldn’t I?

I have water shooting out of my water fill door on outside of truck (may not be the proper name) when turning the pump on. What could be the issue?
Probably have the pump connected backwards. It has arrows for water flow
How are you able to take out your water tank yearly to clean it out?
You can sanitize it where it is in place, but if I had to it's possible but will have to cut and use a PVC coupling to replace in same spot
Where is your paid lessons link should be in every video
Not in the older videos. Only ones from last 6 months or so
Hello sir, how did you mount the water heater.
Just mounted to wall with 2 screws. Nothing too crazy with the water and Propane line
Hey guys or frank, is it better to use the propane water heater or electric water heater? Please explain
Just depends on power consumption. They both work. It's just like have a gas car or electric car, same result different fuel source. I personally prefer Propane bc I don't add that to my generator usage
Where can I find a plumber in illinois that can work on food trucks?
That's a tough one, not too many will be willing to help you out when I was going through this. That's why I did it myself so far so good.

Leave the original legs at the bottom and goes into the flange feet

Where do u get ur tanks and what gal are they

Those pvc pieces are a lot cheaper at home depot than Amazon
