As a single woman waiting for marriage, it's helpful to hear others experiences! Communication and vulnerability are things God keeps bringing to my attention, it is so hard, but so worth it! Thank you for posting
Can we just talk about how much you’ve grown in wisdom! It’s incredible to see how God has worked in and through you! Your boldness and zeal for the Lord and his kingdom is beautiful to see. I truly see your growth in Christ. Keep being on fire for the Lord 🔥 ♥️
All I can say is wow Glory to God, He did it for you Montelle, He will definitely do it for others who are believing in him for a Kingdom marriage 🙏🏾😇. Praise God ❤ I love how respectful and beautiful the comments are on this channel 🥰🥰 Edit: I’m watching from South Africa 🇿🇦
Surrender, sacrifice & service! Kingdom Union is truly a divine picture. The world and the other side don’t want us in these beautiful relationships. This is such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your experience 💛
Excellent video Montelle! This was so informative and insightful. Thanks for keeping it real. I would love to see a video on how to prepare for marriage. I’m single at the moment, but I would like to start knowing what I need to be working on/developing that will prepare me to be a wife.
In the beginning of your relationship, It is great you both had your individual spaces. I can understand the challenge to have individual space. My parents were married for over 30 years. I was able to see how hard it is.
We here for IT girl❤.Everything you said so on point. As a young lady married for 8 years now l can say it can be handful yet beautiful ❤🎉. I also create content on marriage too😊❤
Marriage is very hard work even with the right person! Thats why it is imperative to choose wisely! If both work together, and grow by staying close to God, you will become a better version of yourself. You will learn from each other and work on things you didnt know you needed to. Marriage brings all your flaws to the surface in a way, we all have baggage, so thats why many fail in time. But its very much worth it if you can be humble enough to recognize you need to work on things. Theres no room for ego in the marriage bed.
Montelle, I’ve been watching you for some time now. I see a change in your eyes and want you to know that I’m hearing you. Please know that you are pioneering change culturally. I think the black community has lost that perception. Pioneering will translate to many sacrifices now for future generations. Too many people are exiting after it gets hard and then become single parent homes, which is not good for society as a whole. Sacrifices will mean trauma facing in both parties and LOTS of compassion for each other and childhood upbringing that may impact you both currently. Not easy, but stay focused. Make sure the hard conversations happen now and not later. Get through the first 2 years. Still date and do things together. Wait to have children, don’t let anyone rush you in the next stage. You both missed the getting to know stage with the distance. It’s ok. Give your marriage its growing time and season. Sending love ❤️🙏🏼
I like that you brought up the fact that many people call marriage a piece of paper. You are right about the covenant.
