FYI, that is the LIN bus you're communicating with. It is much cheaper and slower than CAN bus communications as it's fixed at a much lower rate. Generally it's used for less critical applications as it has one master device and the rest slaves. There are more powerful dedicated tools for communications with this bus, but does require some additional skills to work with. This copies the entire control units files and the immo data is extracted.
thanks for the vid. i was waiting for someone to actually show how to use the APB130. Although I thought once you get the CS code, that is all you need to program a key for all keys lost mqb?
@@iskooobydooYes if it's only add key VVDI2 I use and save sync data. No need to remove cluster for add key. This was for an AKL situation to show the adapter being used.
@@intercle1980 Sync data is available from online sellers in AliExpress or on Facebooks forums MQBCAR is one of the sellers. I use sync_data_calcu@qq.com for mine.

Unfortunately if it's an All Keys Lost you will need the sync data as well. If it's just add a key then the data can be saved from the original key.
@@hogiegilchrist5307 Can you do via OBD If you have a working key and just adding another key? No need to take out cluster?
