  • In 2025, the 992.2, the first-ever hybrid Porsche 911, will make its premiere. The first hybrid Porsche 911 debuted at the same time as the mid-life change that involved reducing turbo output. The most famous Porsche model has been fine-tuned for almost fifty years. The 2025 Porsche 911, codenamed 992.2, will likely continue the model's upward trajectory with a few cosmetic tweaks and increased power. However, hybridization is on the way. Reportedly, the 911 Turbo Hybrid will include a totally new engine that makes use of cutting-edge hybrid technology, in addition to its twin turbos. In 2025, the engine of the 911 will undergo the most significant upgrades that impact other models. The outside now has many more features, such as lights, air assist systems, wheels, bumpers, and mirrors. Changing the grille seems to have the effect of lowering the temperature of the radiator or the brakes. The 2025 911 hybrid will receive additional natural light into the cabin while retaining its agile handling and captivating ride thanks to revised front and rear fascias, lighting, and aerodynamics. An estimated $117,000 - $174,000 is the price range for a 2025 Porsche 911 with all options and base models. The 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine is shared across the Carrera and the Carrera S, but the Carrera and S receive greater power and torque from it. The Carrera's 3.0-liter twin-turbo engine will receive an additional 11 horsepower and 16 pound-feet of torque, for a grand total of 390 horsepower and 347 pound-feet of torque. There haven't been many updates to the engine. The hybrid system consists of a 2.0 kWh gas-powered battery, an integrated starting generator, a 400-volt electrical system, and for the front wheels, an 80-90 horsepower electric motor.
