@@Elsuya_MiloThe -1 health part is better than damage since it can't be healed, and can counter some mechanics, like the Tryndamere revive power.

I know they're simple, but the "Normal power but better" type star powers are usually a lot of fun. My favorite example is TK's SP, nice to have a simple yet effective game plan.

@@Helikite Zag would unironically be a good champion to put in League. So many choices! Can go hundred-years mode with different weapons like aphelios, or stick with one weapons such as the spear. Q for weapon art (e.g. throwing spear, volley fire), W for dash, E for cast (skillshot that slows and shreds armour + mr), R for any god'saids

i guess it would be similar to deliberating strikes? probably can still "kill" units for effects, but you'll grant them gloom for dmg instead. tough will probably have a similar effect to how it prevents atk loss from deliberating strikes, and the gangplank's boat would just double normally.

Vex's whole thing is being anti fun, so gloom makes sense for her, but idk it feels like a slight flavor miss, especially her package

Her and lux are basically the exact same champion but opposite, would be fine if they were more than just stat increase/decrease
@aetriandimitri190 exactly, my biggest problem with these Champs is you play them the exact same level 1 and 2.
Champs in my opinion are most intresting when they gain a different use case on level up i.e (Bard, Jack, Sett, Irelia, Veigar)
Been waiting for vex for years, and now im just extremely underwhelmed at how bland she is. I get they're designing characters with PoC in mind, but i feel like that should give them more room for innovation, not just "backwards demacia lmao"

I don't understand why the new keywords are just stats boost/reduce. It feels so.. uncreative.

what if lvl 2 effect was something like "when an enemy afflicted by gloom dies, grant its gloom stacks to the weakest enemy" like a pyke kind of effect but that you need to build up in order for it to work. i just feel this is nocturne v2
and shadow could have the "grant double gloom stacks" effect and be a higher cost card. idk just putting ideas out here

@@axell15thewispmaster79 Cards that says "When I'm summoned draw " are called 'boats' because the first four were actually boats:
dreadway for gangplank
syren for misfortune
leviathan for swain
tuskraider for sejuani
This carried over other cards with similar purpose even though they are not actual boats.

Really neat. Gloom seems good for fearsome aggro or trimming the board down for board control strats. Shame the lux doesnt seem to be a real champ card 😔
I think vex package is too slow for aggro, problably her decks will be more similar to morgana ig
But Lux 2.0 & Vex seems to sygernize pretty well with the boost mechanic.

Love it ! BEST TCG, and i played so much different, semi_pro magic, 1st place mtg arena mythic, eternal top1, constructed/limited at the same time,elite mythguard, top world shadowverse, hearstone legend std and classic.
All those games were great with qualities and defaults. But Runeterra got a lot of real good mechanics who make the game more fast paced than all of his rivals, the real " problem" is a learning curve much more longer and difficult than other TCG but it's really worth it.
Ps: Marvel Snap is a shame, and i can understand some people want some more easy and WC friendly game, but this game is an insult to your intelligence, i prefer UNO if i really want to play something light.

yeah these arent keyword effects at all. idk why it had to be a keyword plus doesnt add anything new. vex gloom is about anti dashes not debuffing

If they have gloom sure it's good but what if they have impact and spirit?
Enemies only get Gloom increased
Very few AI decks in PoC have impact cards and usually it is a one-two cards per deck
I wish the level up was "you have reduced enemy stats X times" so they were more versatile

So applying gloom seems stronger than doing damage if I'm not misunderstanding since it's still reducing enemy HP the same amount but also reducing attack. If there was a 6 mana 5|3 with play: deal 4 to a unit, wouldn't that be pretty op? Like compare it to enraged firespitter or stone breaker.
So How is that not OP when it's gloom? Also does vex applying gloom just make an opponent unable to use boost without killing themselves?
Hmm... The Noxian Dragon that deal 2 to an unit & the nexus (4 in total) 6/4 with challenger ? Also, IF you are the player who use boost, you boost your positive keyword and their negative keyword. So no, you cannot boost your own negative keyword and boost their positive one.

When a player boost it only effect their positive keyword and the opponante negative one. You cannot boost your own negative or boost their positive.

"gloom" seems to just be a way better "spirit" able to disable bloks kill units get rid of empower.
The landmark is called family reunion. I can't find a more negative aspect in my daily basis 10/10

Her star powers makes having vex on the board so strong. It's easy to lvl her up with her 2 star power and 3 star power with lvl 2 vex is just -2/-2 on round start.
I wonder if that rare relic that does 3 damage to every other unit applies the 2* power. Would be so op at round 3

What is Boost?
SPIRIT and GLOOM can stack. I think, if target have these keywords, BOOST adds another one stack.

Not really, they rotated almost all nightfall cards (like Diana). And tbh, she seems pretty bad in a fearsome deck, too expensive & his effect too slow for aggro. Her package doesn't really help aggro fearsome either except Glare ?
She basically has Enfeebling strike as her 2*? Crazy strong
