Dying Light 2 Anniversary Celebration will have 2 parts.
First part is the year of dragon event & second is the Update as the community manager also confirmed it on official DL Server.
So looks like we are getting an Update after 19th Feb 2024.
What do you guys think about this Delay & are you excited for the update ?

Its like the year of the dragon is something to keep us entertained while they finish up the guns update. Least its only 2 weeks, and they are taking their time with everything.

It sucks we got to wait until the 20th for the BIG update but it's adding nightmare difficulty, board quests, tower raids, guns including the Scorpio, and possibly Tolga and Fatin and that's a LOT to put in one update so no doubt it's going to take a bit longer but at least we now know when it's coming. This will be the biggest update yet

I understand that not everything is ready to be added to the game yet, especially considering that the development plans are ambitious, but I don't like starting the event without any new features introduced. The best events were always after the introduction of a new update when this event allowed you to play with new options in the game in a cool new way. For me, the event has always been a great addition to new updates, but on its own without something new, it won't bring as much fun. If not all the goals in the roadmap are ready to be added next Thursday, that's no problem, but there's definitely something that could be added, even board quests would be a nice addition, practically adding anything new would be great

The community manager for techland said that they are going to be releasing stuff in parts beaches they have a lot of surprises in in the official discord and I was there when she made the announcement
@Best Gamer Ali Another great video my sexy indian tech support legend. 10/10 Video hehe but jokes aside very good video man and let's hope techland still holds up their end on adding the rest of the E3 cut content back into the game. The only news so far is the scorpio returning, but we're still currently missing the e3 enemy jump, e3 mod activation animation, e3 balance jump and the e3 push attack. Aside from that elysium doesn't have to make an official return since that is already returning via custom map modding. But the rest of those animations returning would make the game complete.
Firstly give me ur credit card details and secondly i hope we get more of the E3 stuff that people want.
So far we are getting small things but i hope to see more in the DLC 2.
If it's not a "the following" size type of update, techland can literally kick rocks

I was hoping we’d get some of the update with part 1 (co-op missions, board quests, and Scorpio), and then we’d get the big stuff with the part 2 update (guns, tower raid, etc.)
I hope they drop it all in the part 2.
The most important add-on are the Mod Tools, i think, we can have everything with these (pratically)...🤞🤔

I don’t mind this delay because everything is better delayed than rushed and broken like for example co-op is still messy while I am trying to play with my friend and he is new to the game and I don’t want that to be a major turn off for him especially if the games co-op is broken on a day where the update released early.
On the poster there is a gun so I think guns are coming edit: oh I didn’t no he mentioned this in the video

Season 2 in Modern Warfare 3 will keep zombie slayers and Call of Duty players like me busy until part 2 of this event and the BIG update drops on the 20th. Season 2 is zombie themed, it's like the Call of Duty developers knew about the 2nd anniversary event for Dying Light 2 and are having a zombie themed season because of it
zombies looks horrible on there compared to treyarchs
I am not sure about guns bows/crossbows arw already very strong..nightmare mode will be very welcome addition and cant wait for that

At this point if they are going to delay from this point on the need to give a brief explanation why nor just leave us in the dark. They have put us off before only to be met with major disappointments. The negatives that have stacked up from back since launch still vastly outweigh the positives currently to date. Yes there has been leaps and strides in improvements but everytime they leap they also tend to shoot themselves in the foot midair.
Im fine with the update being delayed from the actual anniversary, like DLC2 the more time to work on it the better.

Tencent's bias is showing because they could have done the gun update first earlier and then done the Year of the dragon event second and honestly it would have been better in that order 😮💨 but thank you for letting us know Best Gamer Ali I'll hold off on starting a new game plus until the event is over and we get the update for the guns but until then I'll be looking forward to your review on that update and please keep up the great work as always love your videos bro.🙂👍
To be honest Techland has always been doing the dragon event.
even back in DL1 they did a event and made a bundle for it, So i am sure the delay is done for a good reason and while we wait they decided to release the event to keep us busy.
I just hope the update comes out with great stuff.

Alot of people are saying "oh this should've been here On day 1" the reason why These promises In the E3 Trailer Techland had to cut out alot of Stuff because 2 Woman thought it would be funny if They falsely accused of Se*ual assault So thats why alot of features in the trailer was cut
