I've notice past Launches need a break in period. They feel the best after 50 miles. Great review!

Totally agree! The Launch 7 was like a brick. This version is much better right out of the box, but I still wanted a bit more pep. I love this shoe honestly, but I love the Hyperion Tempo even more, mainly because its the same upper but with the much more responsive DNA Flash midsole. Review coming out later today on that at (ua-cam.com/video/z-GO3aCswSU/v-deo.html)

Just purchased these and went on a run. Great, light running shoe and very comfortable. Great shoe for the price, but they can be a bit slippery on some surfaces.

Looks a good shoe, it has to be better than the launch 7 which was the worst show I've ever had the misfortune to run in. It was strange because the launch 6 was really good

Dave, I totally agree the 7 was a dud. The midsole was like a brick and the upper wasnt flexible enough. This is a great improvement, the upper is great! Just wanted this to have more pop, but the Hyperion Tempo is basically the same upper but with the DNA Flash midsole, and for the extra $50 I think it's worth the upgrade. But nice Brooks has the launch and the tempo now that are almost identical but hit two very different price points. The Tempo review comes out in a few hours at (ua-cam.com/video/z-GO3aCswSU/v-deo.html)

Yes, the Launch 5 and 6 were gold for the price which were always heavily discounted. Bought the 5 for $37, regret that I didn't cop another pair.

Do you consider them a good choice for a stability Marathon racing shoe?
