In school I knew that we need two rays to find the focal point but now I truly understood the "WHY" part. The importance of focal point. This is why we need teachers who can explain things in simpler terms .. reading book alone is not enough. I learned the formula .. passed the exams .. got a job .. settled in US .. but still have shallow knowledge of the subject.
Thank you for this explanation, sir. An interesting fact: There is a commonly discussed issue in Human vision known as "the Inverse Problem in Optics". The idea is that one retinal image can correspond to infinitely many object positions. So a single stationary eye cannot uniquely determine where the image is formed. To get multiple divergent rays, we would either have to use both eyes (binocular vision) or if one-eyed, we would have to move around to get different perspectives of the object. This limitation of human perception is exploited in optical illusions like the Ames room. This is also the reason why two eyes are better for depth perception than a single eye.
Yes, two eyes are better for stereoscopic vision. However a single eye is in fact capable of 3D vision (stereoscopic vision). Try to view a photo or a video with only one eye open. Then surprisingly you will get a 3 dimensional view... A feeling of depth...
sir , you are really a great person and down to earth . Watching you is a blessing . you are a motivation for many of us as a bihari, salute you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Sir, I have a doubt. How do we see image of an object being behind the object as you are taking position of eye beyond the lens so the eye is getting divergent beam of light from the point of intersection and hence forms the image. But from behind how do we get divergent beam of light from that point to form its image? 4:25

Excellent explanation And what the professor says about the virtual image is perfectly clear. However for real images, there is some problem. @6:04, it is told that diverging rays appear to start from a point between the lens and the eye. And so the image would appear to be at that point. This is not correct. For real images, it needs a screen and it is the light reflected from the screen that we perceive as the image... Take a convex lens and hold it in front of your eye and look at a distant object through it. Adjust the distance between the eye and the lens in such a way that the focal point of the lens is around 25 cm from the eye. Then you should be able to see the small inverted real image of the distant object at 25 cm from the eye. This should be possible if the professor's explanation is correct. Isn't it? But this is possible only if there is a screen there. A semi transparent screen.

Sir my name is Ashmit Raj and I study in class 10 and I have a keen interest in quantum mechanics and I have a query regarding the relation I found while substituting and that was pretty much fun in doing it .The formula goes something like this E=mc2 E=(mc)c E=pc p=E/c---(i) case Now ,as per the plank's theory that light is made up of tiny packet of energy called quanta later found by Einstein as photon .he related the energy and frequency as E=hf----(ii)nd case By placing the frequency as in the relation in case 2 by λ=vt where t=1/f. Now we get v=fλ and f=v/λ Now take v=c so by putting the value of f in ( ii)nd case we get E=hc/λ and if we put the value of E we got here in 1st case then we get de brogile equation which is p=h/λ From the de brogile equation the real fun begins where in p=h/λ if we divide both sides by t we get p/t=h/λt(now we know according to second law of Newton that dp/dt=F where (delta t approaches 0) Now further simplifying and substituting value of t =1/f we get a unique relation F=hf/λ=F=E/λ so we obtained a relationship between force , wavelength and time, the Newtonian law of classical mechanics fails in case of quantum mechanics but my question is that is it true for all the laws of Newton including the second law because I was reading in PDF which told that Newton second law can be used to derive Schrodinger wave equation.sir please also explain why the Newton law fail in terms of quantum mechanics in depth and also tell that if Newton second law is correct then my relation that I drew are wrong or right .i found it on this pdf link arxiv.org/abs/1705.10688
Good try but what have wrote is mathematically inconsistent. ...T=1/f here t is time period ..its not instantaneous time ...your cannot say 1/dt = f ..
@@Surya02075 I know my relation is irrelevant but I want to mainly ask that can we use Newton 2nd law to derive Schrodinger equation because at certain case that holds true to use laws of classical mechanics in quantum mechanics

Sir I admire your content a lot, I had a question - We are taught that materials have an inherent magnetic property, It is explained in textbooks by the Bohr model, It is said that moving electrons produce a current and in the process a magnetic field also. But since we know that The Bohr model is not entirely accurate, then how can Magnetism of atoms be explained by The Quantum mechanical model, Where the electron is expressed by a probability wave and is not entirely deterministic.
So first of all bohr didn't told us that moving electron produces electric and magnetic field ,it's maxwell . And about the quantum model of atom the electron behave as wave because it is moving (de broglie relationships). Hence all materials have that magnetic property. Thanks

Thank you for this explanation, sir. An interesting fact: There is a commonly discussed issue in Human vision known as "the Inverse Problem in Optics". To get multiple divergent rays, we would either have to use both eyes (binocular vision) or if one-eyed, we would have to move around to get different perspectives of the object.

Aur agr water jo evaporate ho rha h vo seedha use energy for evaporation to mene ek ques dekha tha usme likha tha ki slowly liq is being poured on hot calorimeter and this causes complete evaporation... There to solve that ques we also took temp change even there is evaporation how???... I had searched abt it very much but didn't get satisfied answer....plz sir resolve my problem
Sir my name is Ashmit Raj and I study in class 10 and I have a keen interest in quantum mechanics and I have a query regarding the relation I found while substituting and that was pretty much fun in doing it .The formula goes something like this
E=mc2
E=(mc)c
E=pc
p=E/c---(i) case
Now ,as per the plank's theory that light is made up of tiny packet of energy called quanta later found by Einstein as photon .he related the energy and frequency as E=hf----(ii)nd case
By placing the frequency as in the relation in case 2 by λ=vt where t=1/f.
Now we get v=fλ and f=v/λ
Now take v=c so by putting the value of f in ( ii)nd case we get E=hc/λ and if we put the value of E we got here in 1st case then we get de brogile equation which is p=h/λ
From the de brogile equation the real fun begins where in
p=h/λ if we divide both sides by t we get p/t=h/λt(now we know according to second law of Newton that dp/dt=F where (delta t approaches 0)
Now further simplifying and substituting value of t =1/f we get a unique relation F=hf/λ=F=E/λ so we obtained a relationship between force , wavelength and time, the Newtonian law of classical mechanics fails in case of quantum mechanics but my question is that is it true for all the laws of Newton including the second law because I was reading in PDF which told that Newton second law can be used to derive Schrodinger wave equation.sir please also explain why the Newton law fail in terms of quantum mechanics in depth and also tell that if Newton second law is correct then my relation that I drew are wrong or right .i found it on this pdf link arxiv.org/abs/1705.10688
Brother you are really in class 10th? It's so impressive to see your doubt.
Good try but what have wrote is mathematically inconsistent. ...T=1/f here t is time period ..its not instantaneous time ...your cannot say 1/dt = f ..
@@criticalthinking575 thanks but I want the answer in more depth actually please see the pdf
@@sachchidanadapandey669 actually ur relation is wrong!
@@Surya02075 I know my relation is irrelevant but I want to mainly ask that can we use Newton 2nd law to derive Schrodinger equation because at certain case that holds true to use laws of classical mechanics in quantum mechanics
Sir, I have a doubt that why iron attract towards magnet. 🙏🙏🙏
SIR I HAVE A DOUUBT THAT IF WE PLACE A HELICOPTER ABOVE SOME HEINGHT FROM A FIXED PLACE , AS WE KNOW EARTH ROTATES , DOES WE FOUND TO BE PRESENT ANY WERE ELSE?
Sir your hair style is awesome
Sir mera question he ki
Har ek vastu ka mass hota he vo cha he space me ho ya earth pe lekin agar hm ye Jana na cha he ki nirvat me kisi bhi vstu ka mass kitna he to hm kaise pata kar paye ge .
Nirvat me pankh or iron ki ball ko ek saath chorne par ve dono ek saath niche girti he to kya hum ye kah sakte he ki pankh or ball ka mass same tha kyo ki same mass ki vastu hi ek saath niche girti he .
Ye mera question tha mujhe pata nahi ki ye question sahi h ya galat par rendom hi mere dimaag me aaya jb me study kar raha tha mene apne sir se bhi puch par koi santust karne wala sa answer nahi mil paya
Thankyou soo much sir for making such a nice explanation video.

Sir i am a jee aspirant i have a doubt when energy conservation full formula is c^2=(pc)^2+(mc^2)^2 then why will we take it in the form of e=mc^2 please sir bata dijiye 😢😢
Sir I am jee aspirant and I love your book and examples and questions cover concepts clearly in Avery chapter if I do questions of your book I get some confidence on the concept or chapters
Sir Why do we always consider objects as principal axis?? Please can you tell me.
Sir please answers the question ''why the direction of angular velocity, acceleration, momentum is perpendicular to plane? "
Sir coefficient of mutual Inductance is depend upon material, orientation, separation between coils but we take same M for both the coils why??? If we take one of the material with another one with same orientation and separation tha M will we same???
Sir I have a question that why a light ray bends towards the normal when it travels from air to glass,why it does not bend away from the normal ?

Sir I admire your content a lot,
I had a question - We are taught that materials have an inherent magnetic property, It is explained in textbooks by the Bohr model, It is said that moving electrons produce a current and in the process a magnetic field also.
Thanks
Who told you that Boht model is not accurate??!!!
@@pri012because it's badly failed to any other atom than hydrogen and helium...
Sir , please make a detailed video on lagrangian mechanics, and other remaining topics as formalism in quantum mechanics
Sir, I studied that in visible spectrum , red has the highest speed while the violet has the least. But light speed is always constant that is 3×10 power 8 m per sec sir then how do 7 colours have different speeds? How are speeds , their deviation angles , varied frequency and wavelength cause them to split up in dispersion by prism ? Can you please explain the dispersion deeply sir
Sir, I am Deepak Raj from Bihar, right now i am in standard 12th.👍

Great brilliant sir in all teachers
Sir my dought is - when the rain occurs ,then the drop of the water are in all the direction above us , and the sun light is also coming to all the drops so refraction will occur in all the drop , so my question the that why only some of the drops show a rainbow , why not all the droplets show a colour full sky ..? .....please answer sir .
My question is " Does a charge undergoing acceleration within a gravitational field emit radiation? " I have been thinking about this situation for quite some time since my 11th grade and could not come up with any possible answer. I have also asked this to many physics teachers and professors but could not get a satisfactory response. According to classical electromagnetism, an accelerating charge emits electromagnetic radiation. However this scenario touches upon the intersection of two fundamental theories in physics-electromagnetism and general relativity.
You have to know this stuff in bsc physics that's why accelerating charges created magnetic field..
I am a 10 grader I have a doubt . How is the speed of in a particular medium related to angle of refraction in that medium
Sir in friction why blocks move togher upto some force
Sir why the magnetic field in a magnet goes from North to South?

Sir i have a doubt why reflection occurs what made the light to reflect on the surface, why with equal angle
Sir in pure inductive circuit why the voltage leads the current by 90° and vise versa for capacitive circuit???
Sir why all the rays which are parallel to the principal Axis after reflection get converge or appear to be diverged at focus. Sir please solve the doubt
I always thought of this, why do we show only 2 rays? And i was not able to connect it with real world, for example if i put an object in front of a mirror, from where will the Ray come from and what about the rest of the part of the object? And how do we decide sharp and blurred image? What does intersection of Ray mean? How does it form an image
May god bless you sir 🙏🏻
Thank you 😊

Sir,
Why we're taking the rays only from one end and why we extend the rays from where they intersect and said these diverging rays will form the image of object in our eyes
👉 But how the whole image of the object will form in our eyes
🤔🤔

@hcverma2928
Sir , Please... ❤❤😊😊
Sir image single ray se hi form kyu nhi ho pata h
Agar hum microscopic ya us se bhi bahot chhote level p dekhe to object k 1 point se 1 hi light ray aayngi ,aur agar image minimum two light ray k intersection se hi banti hongi to sayad object k is chhote point ka image to banega hi nhi, kyuki is nano point se to 1 hi light ray nikli h
Sir ,aise to object k kisi bhi point ka image nhi banega
Iska matlab image formation k liye light rays ki intersection ki jrurat nhi hoti h
Sir , divergent gradient and curl ko bhi samjha dijiyega 🥲 kya
Iske liye alg se vdo h sir ki, search kr lena, divergent by hc Verma sir likh kr
