Nice! Yeah, this is exactly how I used to style, I would trim to exactly how I wanted it without any heat. I may go back that route at some point.

I've been going "Less is More" lately, using mostly cool air to dry and only oil during the day.

My beard responds well to using less products as well. Good stuff.

Thanks Matt! I'm loving the more natural look as of late too. I'm still using a heated brush however, the heat is much lower with fewer strokes. Then I do a more rounded look. - Joe.

Nailed it, Matt! I have really been digging the natural look as well. Not going for length as I am for bulk now. I love the full look. I use the Live Bearded or Black Rebel for the hold. Thanks! Keep up the good work! God Bless!

Beard looks great. I aim for this style as well. Full, rounded, and natural. I much prefer this style to the straight (even straightened), squared-off style that many guys go for.

Good vid. I feel like I’ve been moving this way a bit more lately as well. I used to think it had to be completely straight for the professional look. I’m kinda ok with it tho. BTW. My daughter has that same “crave” detangling brush. I agree, that thing is amazing. I can run it through my beard, dry, in the morning when I wake up, before anything and it will not catch. Thanks for all the advice and you definitely have one of the best beards in the game.

Just a FYI for new beards man. When your beard gets longer1-1.5" finish using a comb. Why? A beard brush will make divots and waves. I start with a brush and brush in every direction, I also brush my beard as if I were brushing my teeth. Keep brush in constant going back and forth up and down and circular. Finish with a comb. I do anything I can to NOT use a blow dryer. You see, brushing in every direction makes the beard lye straight and flat.

Dang bro, you are one of the lucky guys that has a straight hair beard. Mine is thick coerced curly beard that if I don’t tame it it’s all over the place. Mine is pretty much the same routine only I need a round brush.

Do strong hold balms or all balms in general still have a place in your daily routine or have you changed your style and stopped using them except on rare occasions?

Matt, I'm not sure if you've ever been asked but I have to know. Might be a tough one or could be an easy one for you. If you had to choose one beard company for the rest of your bearded life which company would it be and what scent? I have a big collection and have my favorites.

@@NoBSBeardReviews I tried it this morning and I got great results! Beard was so much fuller and had more body. With a completely white beard that is very straight, I always try to find ways to give it more body. I was amazed the difference less blow drying and only rolling under a little with the round brush made! Thanks!🧙‍♂️

I have been noticing that my waves slowly creep back to the crazy norm with butter and balms. Is this normal lol. By like hour 6 it’s where it was when I got out of bed. Am I doing something wrong

Lot's of factors could play in. Try actually using less product one day, normal amount one day, and then more product one day to see which works best for you.
