I'm in Brasil, summer is starting, it's gonna be 40°C outside soon. And I want soup season back. It's a chill moment where I turn AC on max, at night and watch Andong eating soup, and wish for colder days.
I made this dish tonight in a pressure cooker and it’s easily one of the best Asian inspired recipes I’ve ever cooked. Completely delicious - and the addition of freshly squeezed orange juice is genius! Thank you so much!!
I would say that we NEED the soup season, and with that recomend "Locro" a soup from Los Andes (Chile, Bolivia and Argentina, where I´m from, but the name varies from country to country). It´s awesome and I´m pretty sure that you can get every ingredient in Germany!
Really loved soup season! Highlights for my partner and me: 1) having such a wide regional variety of soups, and 2) seeing you walk around Berlin in search of a good soup spot.
That old pulled noodle video is how I found your channel when EmmyMade linked to it in one of her videos. It's nice to see someone who's so passionate, they're willing to revisit an old topic. Yes, please bring back Soup Season!
Hey Andong, you should definetly try the brazilian national dish, it's called "feijoada", it uses black beans and pork meat, sausage and dried meat and is eaten with rice and fried cassava.
If Soup Season comes back, I recommend you try kimchi jjigae (김치찌개). It’s a classic Korean stew/soup and it completely changes the taste and texture of raw kimchi, which is what most people probably tried and some don’t really like.
Andong thanks for being the creator that i’m always proud to support via patreon. You bring good vibes and good food in my life via videos that are always getting better and better. Pride and joy from Switzerland 🇨🇭 And did i mention SOUP SEASON NEEDS TO COME BACK
No joke, soup season was the most inspirational stuff for me. I would LOVE to see a come back. Your version of that turkish lentil soup is an absolute staple in my daily repertoire.
Yes please to soup season 2!! Especially more vegan or easily adaptable soups. Really enjoyed making the first season of soups and many have made it into my regular cooking habits! Keep up the excellent work!
Yes, Soup season would be great again. It combines the comfort and richness of these soups and the fun of seeing you walking through and eating in the rough landscape of winter in Berlin.
Such a good noodle soup! My family learned to make it last year and its been a family favourite ever since. A nice splash of Chinese vinegar in your bowl also really helps boost the flavour.
Just made this one using a pressure cooker to speed things up and extract even more flavor from the aromatics. The broth was insanely good and exchanging the hand made pasta for shop bought fresh shangxi noodles did not tarnish this experience. Big thumbs up and let the soup season begin. 👍🏼
Yes! Soup season! I absolutely loved that series and made several of the soups. Also this recipe looks shockingly easy, I should definitely give it a try.
Yeeees more Soup Season videos! I just love soups because usually you just dump everything into a pot and then everything cooks by itself. Soups are usually easy to make but they're so comforting and filling. They're just the best.
This should count as two, because my girlfriend and I both loved your soup season videos! That salmon soup especially is amazing. Thanks for the incredible content Andong!
Although I don't eat meat. I enjoyed this video. It is very inspiring, thank you very much. I'm wondering if the 60% hydration noodles will stay ferm in the soup or will get soggy along the way. Do you know about that? And please start another soup season! Loved the previous soup season!
I enjoy watching your work, your narration is super unique and pleasent to listen to! Also, will give your recipe a go, if I manage to get my hands on all the ingredients 😅
Bring back the soup season! Just made a big batch Hokkaido soup with ginger, coconut milk and a handful of thai chilis last week, that stuff makes you feel real warm now that its getting colder here in germany
I'd recommend adding the orange juice towards the end of cooking. That's a very clever substitute btw and I've used citrus juice in my soups many times and it's fantastic!
Andong, there’s a trick people use to get tender meat without having your stove runs for so long. It’s 5 minutes of boiling, turn off heat, let it sit lid on for 30 minutes, then boil it again for 7 minutes. It won’t be overly tender and there’s still a bite to it but in a nice way. This is how i cook beef and it works!
Adding the carrots later in the cooking is better if you plan to have thick pieces of meat so they don't disintegrate by the tike the meat is super tender. Super simple recipe looking forward to trying it out
I don't know about soup season but you going out to weird places with a table in freezing cold and eating some steamy hot food is the content I drool after.
Soup Soup Soup! I loved last years, the Turkish Lentil soup in particular has become something that I make super frequently, especially during the winter. More soups!
Andong! I haven't seen any of your videos lately and just though you hadn't been uploading only to discover that for whatever reason, I wasn't subscribed to your channel even though I could have sworn that I was! Some other guy trolled me a while back over a comment I made so maybe he somehow hacked my page? Don't know. Anyway, I'm so glad to see you again. This soup looks amazing and it's chilly and wet here in Chicago so it's perfect for this time of year. I'd love to give it a go but as much as I have cooked in my lifetime, I've never made noodles so I think my first try will be with store bought noodles and then maybe I'll muster up the courage to make my own. It's definitely looks simple enough. So happy to be back! Yay! ☺I also see I have a lot of catching up to do!
I haven't followed you for super long so I don't know what soup season is. Now I could just go binge your playlists.. or I could just ask for soup season.
We need more soup season I made a batch of my cheeky mince beef soup yesterday and found its really nice with sriracha mixed in and amended the rest of the batch to match

We just had to wait for soup season again! I’m also so grateful he’s making more :)
There is a small shop in south Portland that makes some of the BEST beef noddle soup I've ever had.
With how rainy it is outside, noodles sound good.
What's it called? I'd love to check it out!
Where at?
Need a name for the place!
I made this dish tonight in a pressure cooker and it’s easily one of the best Asian inspired recipes I’ve ever cooked. Completely delicious - and the addition of freshly squeezed orange juice is genius! Thank you so much!!
I'd love another soup season! The last one was so fun, and the recipes were so delicious, I especially loved the Turkish lentil soup
I especially loved the Laksa
I would say that we NEED the soup season, and with that recomend "Locro" a soup from Los Andes (Chile, Bolivia and Argentina, where I´m from, but the name varies from country to country). It´s awesome and I´m pretty sure that you can get every ingredient in Germany!

My girlfriend wants soup season back and so do I so that counts for ✌️. It would be interesting to see more European soups also.
Exactly! I'd really love it if Andong made an episode of Soup Season 2 about ciorbă de perişoare!
Really loved soup season! Highlights for my partner and me: 1) having such a wide regional variety of soups, and 2) seeing you walk around Berlin in search of a good soup spot.

+1 regarding the pulled noodle video! 😄
Hey Andong, you should definetly try the brazilian national dish, it's called "feijoada", it uses black beans and pork meat, sausage and dried meat and is eaten with rice and fried cassava.
Yeees, you would totally honor the brazilian cuisine
