The new Fortnite Metallica update is here. With it you can also unlock the new backfire rocket league car that is insanely OP compared to all other cars in the game.

The windshields are actually balanced around playstyle. It's all about whether you want to be able to shoot at the driver, or avoid being shot at by the passenger. It's actually a layer of gameplay that I never thought about before.

They should make all the hitboxes the same but keep the cars looking the same. That way nothing is pay to win because you can still shoot the same.

Pretty sure they already addressed this in the latest update, now it's impossible to hit ANY driver from the passenger seat, regardless of their car.

This update Fortnite added a feature where you cannot get shot through a car windshield at all anymore! Not only does this fix the issue with paid cars before this update, this now allows them to make even cooler cars without worrying about getting shot through windshield such as this car here! 😅👍

Yeah, if you don't have the Octane or this Backfire car from Rocket League, you have to do Rocket Racing quests to get them. Atleast here there's a NEW Backfire Metallica Decal in RR so there's still something to grab...

You don't even need this car to achieve this effect if you just use the basic Rocket League car everyone gets for free anyways. I figured out a way to check if a car's windshield can be shot through and hit the driver, and it's to look at the model from the side, and see if the steering wheel is directly under the windshield.

My account must be glitched because I got this car for free just by loading up the game after the Metallica update. I don't play Rocket League at all so I definitely didn't get it from there. The same thing happened with the Masamune car. They just gave it to me one day when I loaded up the game.

I like the new tow hook gun because it does 100 damage to players per shot for body shots even though it doesn’t count for any of the weapon specialist accolades because it shows a picture of the heavy bullet instead the weapon category it’s a part of.
