I think this song is about an actual alien/UFO. The alien was sent to a mission to study a dying/waste planet, to study the life there, if any. They did, found a few specimen for their experiments, more like abducting them or grabbing a part of them to study on. But the alien misses his home, but cannot leave until he is truly finished with his job. The alien wanted companions, friends to talk to, so he used the specimen to make clones of the life there to spend time whle away from home. Eventually he crashes and the life raids his "UFO" and his lab is destroyed.

I think this song is from the perspective of the immigrant missing his home country. The UFO is referring to the plane where the immigrant rides on to travel to a new place. The thing is, he deeply misses his family, friends and the place where he lives in his childhood long before emigration from his home country. One of the lyrics even proves it:
"UFO, UFO, I pray of you, please~
Take me back, take me back, please, I want to return, ah"
Metaphorically speaking, the immigrant wants a plane ticket back home because he was 'praying' for making enough money to even buy one (they're not that cheap, y' know?).
This song just made me cry for some reason. Maybe the lyrics and the beat flow so well it touches my heart a bit.
