Can't imagine the SF90 customer cross shops the NSX Type S. This car is being purchased by current Gen 2 NSX owners as an upgrade, Gen 1 NSX owners who passed on the pre-Type S Gen 2 car, Japanese car fans, random collectors and flippers.
Yes we agree in a real life situation but tech wise, both cars are very similar as as performance hybrid. If you only consider pricing, then a F8 is closer counterpart.
I drove the 2022 NSX type s for a while and it was so fun to drive. When driving it felt like I was one with the car. This car feels like it knows you really well. Feels very comfortable at high speeds.
I gave you a Thumbs Up within the first 90 seconds. Why? Your presentation is normal, humble, and authentic. Unlike so many others who over-emphasize their annunciations and presentation with excessive animated body language (Doug Demuro). where is your shop located? I am actually cross shopping the Acura NSX Type-S and another vehicle a bit more expensive. However, the Acura is easily serviced as compared to the other. The aftermarket exhaust sounds good. Do you do any tuning? Great video. I should probably press PLAY again.
The dealerships are really hideous, selling these cars for $300k theres one listed for $399,999!!! Then some rich dude will buy it and then it will sit in a dang shipping container. Guess Acura built a great car and now they will never be driven much to even know if they are dependable. The Type S is a beast I just wish they would do another year of the Type S with another 350 cars
We agree markups suck! However this isn't isolated to just the NSX but sadly any high demand car is this way. Lambo, Mclaren, Mercedes, even Honda and Kia does this so it's nothing new. If you don't believe us, just go try to buy a new Corvette! ouch
@@euroboutique Yea Im aware of the vettes and the mark ups on regular vehicles but its never been 75% mark up, you would think the manufacturers would cap it. I knew when they sold out as fast as they did that the dealerships had bought them. I was hoping for a 2nd run of 350. Its just dumb that car companies are going all electric when the battery technology isnt there yet, and theres nothing for charging stations. The government wants all digital money and electric cars so they can turn us off if we say no to an experimental drug for depopulation. Im just tired of seeing America bow down we should be dragging them out of DC and putting them up like a flower pot down down ya know lol
Great video! I have my production date for my Type S set for August. Until then I'll keep enjoying my NA1. I wish Acura would have made the steering wheel badge black like the others. Not sure why they did that. Any ideas on how to black that out? Also, I got the JDM part number for the rear quarter panel red triangle reflectors. On the JDM type S they are smoked not red. I guess smoked wrap could be an easy mod for that as well as the lower rear red ones.
@@asmc6681 I don’t know if any of them ever had power folding mirrors. I believe Canada and us are identical. My 17 and 22 both don’t have power folding
Love the NA2 in white, didn’t realise NC1 was so much bigger in all directions …

Just curious. Is the white Gen 1 for sale?

We are located in Fremont, CA

great observation and good points! There are ways to get the black badge will bring it up with staff...
@@euroboutique yes black steering wheel badge would be rad
What I’m interested in is power folding door mirrors. I was told the Canada non-S had it listed. I wonder if that can be ordered for the US model.

Someone said the Honda nsx had front air lift stock but I couldn’t find proof anywhere on that
Dope ride and very informative
Great video Rick. Always enjoy your commentary.
The previous Gen 2 cars had alcantara headliners as an option
Gotcha thanks!
Good vid, interesting to see the comparisons vs other $$ cars
I literally almost had a heart attack when I heard that jet sound in the intro holy shit
Molto bella ! Sicuramente ottima auto da utilizzare quotidianamente ..
Rick, can you use that car to mold and create a FRP replica of the front and rear bumper for the base model?
We have no intention to build the bumpers, way too large and complex. We are doing baby steps and starting with the full interior silver trim in CF.
@@euroboutique can’t wait 💪🏼
Awesome
Lol @ pretty good deal
For 300k…
The on track performance isn’t much quicker than a nc1 base… let alone a new gt3.
I drive in Sports mode to save gas and for the softer suspension on rough roads. When I know I want to drive faster, I switch to Sports + or Track.
what do u do for a living
Yeah I have a bunch of friends that have NSX’s 😂 I need to call them
Tens uma garagem invejável 👍
後進が静かなのは、流石ハイブリッドですね。
Sold my house and got $80k over my asking price! Makes things a lot easier now I may buy a Type S!!! Idk these dealerships are just greedy AF!!
I hope you’re not considering the $187k red Type-S I just spotted.
From what I understand, the Canadian non-Type-S had folding mirrors listed in the spec sheet. If I end up purchasing an NSX I plan to look into that.
please let us know if you find out!
sf90??? nahhh that car is in another league.
❤
haha no one is cross shopping an SF90 with an NSX lol
yeah, sf90 is more than 3 times the price of the nsx type s depending on the specs and mark ups lol
Sf90 blows this out the water in every category. TheNC1 doesn’t sound good at all sorry.
Yes we agree but the SF90 shares the tech and was the only car available back then. A better comparison would be the new Ferrari 296
If I could afford these cars I would get this NSX Type S over the sf90 or any Ferrari. Ferrari can kick rocks.
@@naisbest3020 in other words you have never driven one and probably couldnt afford the spare tire
Cover all your carbon fiber exterior pieces. It is fragile.
Could you invest in a better mic for your commentary?
Good idea thanks

Nobody want to see you. We want to see the car
